Looking from the 10th tee at Olde Mill in the Blue Ridge mountains of Virginia very near the Blue Ridge Parkway.

Heres a couple from Saturdays round, played my best of the whole season too, holed out for eagle on 18 but had no scorecard for some reason, really think I could have broken 90 that day for the first time had I only known. :( But beautiful day regardless...

Really, really enjoy playing Hiland Park whenever I am visiting the in-laws. However I recently discovered The Sagamore and wow what a course (especially in the Fall). Took the following pictures about 3 weeks ago when last visited.

Love both of those tracks......My Mom & Step Dad live in Diamond Point in the summer and I play both of them when I visit. But if you ever get a chance to play Glens Falls CC it is awesome pure Adirondack golf. It is also a Donald Ross like The Sagamore. My Step Dad was a member for a while and recently gave up the membership for lack of playing and now he plays at Hiland.

My old hometown. High School golf coach was also my 2nd period art teacher.

He would see our cars parked at Haskells when the surf was good ( late '70's, long before the Bacara monstrosity) and know who would be late to class.....

Me too. I am in South Texas and it is just dormant bermuda fairways and the same scrubby oaks we have been looking at all year. I too hate you all!!!! :-)

Butternut Farm in Stow, MA this past weekend. Hole runs along a marsh with a beaver dam in the middle. Pretty course this time of year.

Heard this was a pretty nice course but have never been up there to play. Looks beautiful and a nice tract as well.

Yes - he enjoyed the balance of the evening in front of a roaring fire with my wife telling him how awesome he was! Funny, that scenario never plays out with me, lol.

Yeah my club guy told me that you can just walk around the property with no issues, they have walking trails. There wasn't a soul there when I was there except people walking their dogs. Really is a gorgeous property.

These pictures are awesome. I live a half hour from there. It is a great time of year. This has to be early Oct or late Sept.

They were taken on October 20th. Really the colours were much better a week later but I wasn't able to get out. Now everything is buried under snow. The colours are nice but what follows sucks.
