Any info on the Scotty Cameron Select 2020 line?

Honestly, this is a pretty good alternative. I did that with a 2016 NP that I messed around with for a couple months. If I end up with a Special Select NP, I'll send it in for a site dot and then remove the paint from the flange line when I get it back from the CS.

The better pictures show the font isn’t that close to the sweet spot. That was an overblown concern and frankly if you are still concerned about hitting those letters when you putt, it is probably time for you to try another sport - perhaps shuffleboard or bowling :-)

For the blades making them smaller and weigh less so there could be an 11 percent gain in MOI is truly a feat. I’m glad I’m getting the Newport 2. Best over the rack Newport 2 maybe ever. Also ordered a Del Mar as I knew that would be the cleanest of the bunch from a billboard stand point.

That Newport 2.5 looks good. I've always preferred a naked Newport, but did have a good run with a Nike B1-07 and that 2.5 looks similar. Hmmmmm

The Scotty Cameron on the face of these most recent photos looks much better than i was expecting from the original photos. stripping the black and replacing with translucent red will look much better and solve most complaints.

Whoa...first pics I've seen where the milling shows up on the shoulders of that NP2. For some reason, I REALLY liked that detail in the early pics of the prototypes. It has me much more interested in grabbing a NP now that I've seen that carry over to these.

Well, this is not the only putter out there. For example, I have three of them with clean faces that I will gladly use instead

Good point and I agree completely. Anser style putters have a decent size sweet spot which make them forgiving. One of my regrets is not buying a 2014 Newport which I tried and worked so nice, it was clean, no alignment marks and minimalist. I do have several Anser style sticks and I look forward to see the new models in person, I saw other photos from other angles and they look better. The best part is no inserts whatsoever.

That Newport 2.5 and Del Mar have pretty obvious milling marks across the shoulders.
