Any info on the Scotty Cameron Select 2020 line?

Getting mine this week from another member here. Am so excited for this putter after reading through this discussion. After owning the two versions with the insert faces I am excited for the full mill on this. Hopefully my putter search is over now.

I picked up a Used 2020 special select NP2 on BST here and thought I’d try, then sell, but this putter has “it” for me and won’t leave the bag just yet! For me the new grip and overall head design perform and feel good. I just wish it had a sound slot or was slightly “tingier “. Makes me want to practice more, so I do practice more.

I got a NP2 today as well. Really clean putter. Haven't been able to game with it yet, however, seems to set up really easy behind the ball. Still don't like the "Scotty Cameron" on the face of the putter but fortunately I don't have to look at it very much. Looking forward to gaming this putter on Monday.

I'd have ordered a Newport already if they had no sightline, hopefully there will be a 2022 version. Seems like a no brainer to offer with and without, and adjust production based on predicted sales, but what do I know.

Yeah, I'll probably do this when I have some free time. Right now I don't feel like bothering much after my Mizuno putter project plans went awry. Not sure how I feel about the grip right now either. I like it but wondering if I'd like the grip from the phantom line more. I have one sitting around but want to get a feel for the current grip on the course before I go pulling the grip.

Received my FB 1.5 today in the H model and it feels way too heavy, E5 at 33.5 with a SS Traxion Pistol GT 1.0, I am not a huge fan as it sits closed to my eye.

This putter feels and look great. First round with it I COULD NOT hit a putt hard enough and left everything short. I figured coming from my NP2 w/ insert I'd be nuking everything but just couldn't commit and hit the putt. Had to go practice yesterday and finally got the feel down but I'm pretty inpressed with the subtle differences and the feel is still top notch. I could came this for years.

When I was putting good with my FUTURA 6M, I thought I would never switch putters. One day I saw the new selects this year, tried on indoor green and could not miss, so bought. I saw the NP 2 online and after putting with it I decided this was better than M6. So I bought, everyone complimented how well putted, I said yeah the np2 is great! My buddy said that’s not an np2, just an np, lol, I never really looked, but greatest putter I’ve owned. So my question is what is so different about the 2, that would make it better than the plain NP select?

First round with mine yesterday, very distinct “ting” to it

Has anyone noticed a difference with distance control in the Special Select Newport/2 vs last couple models? I wasn't sure why at first but I'm thinking maybe because there is less overall weight in the head now vs the added weights themselves. It certainly feels different even though the overall weight is the same. The putter actually feels even softer than my insert NP2 with Srixon XV balls. Overall, this putter is great but I just wasn't expecting to be much of an adjustment for distance control/feel in the new model. I've been leaving so many putts short.
