That shape and look is what people are hoping for. I guarantee if it becomes an OTR that it won't be as simple and clean in terms of engraving though, I'm sure the name would be all over it. But that shape and look is a good start.

Was just at my local Worldwide golf shops and they have release dates for all their clubs. Couldn’t take a picture but the list has the Scotty’s releasing on 1/24 and no pre order date

This has been such a good feed, I will kinda be sad when it all comes to fruition. In the time this thread started to now I got so wrapped up in the wish list, I took my own advice from earlier and bought a 009. Kinda hoping the new retail release doesn’t too clearly resemble the tour shape, but for everyone’s sake it would be cool if it did.

I'm not here to throw around accusations or call names...but any OEM sending product a month early to an account is bonkers, unheard of, and honestly, kind of hard to believe. PING frequently embargoes new equipment, but it's usually a week or two at the most. After twelve years of golf retail, I've never seen Cameron tip his hand or let anything go public to golf shops before announcing it himself. It just doesn't add up.

But...I hope it's all true and that you're enjoying the sneak peek. :)

Look I know people. I have many leather bound books, and my apartment smells or rich mahogany. I’ve seen nothing on these only a date. It seems like it would be a huge snafu to ship these a month early as it never happens. Maybe you get stuff a week or two tops early. Not calling anyone out, but this is very strange release indeed
