That's why they invented Ebay. I've sold my two previous Evnroll putters that way, and made out fine.

I've had my 2.1 for about 3 months now. Been rolling it on my indoor mat up until yesterday (darn western Pa winter). While the green's are no where near midseason form I did drop a 30 footer and lag putting was about what I'm used to. I'm excited to see how this putter works with smooth greens. So far I'm loving the weighting / feel of the putter and don't even notice how big it is anymore. I'd definitely recommend anyone that's on the fence with this putter to give it a try. Fantastic company and Sam Hahn is super responsive on here and he even gave me a call regarding my remote fitting.

I have another question for those with experience with this stick.

In terms of grip, does anyone use a standard grip? I use a Garsen G-Pro max....and sorta kink my wrists in the position a P2 grip may put your hands. I'm a little concerned the stock grips with the forward lean may throw things slightly out of wack.

The Gmax pro and the supination of my wrists has been a gamechanger in my putting this last year. Would anyone be able to describe the available options?

Has anyone had any experience with this putter in an armlock? I found a killer deal on eBay for a 2.1 41” with the Stability Shaft installed. However, I know that I should be fitted into one. @labgolf, do you do fittings post purchase? Sorry, if I had the budget, I would have built from scratch, but with a new kiddo, I feel extremely lucky to get into one of your putters at all.

@labgolf I just started this year, so I’m okay with the fact that it’s not exactly fit for me since this will be my first season playing armlock, and I’m still figuring out my stroke with it. I have one that’s 71 degrees, and the one that I ordered was 67 degrees I believe. I actually ordered it from your official eBay page.

We have arm lock guys that love it for sure. I personally feel an argument could be made that its a bit redundant. Arm lock is a great way to fight torque (the putter head twisting) but if there is no torque, I am not sure if its necessary. I would recommend the mallet version if you wanted to try arm lock with our putters and I would do a remote fitting with an arm lock putter that you already have

Can anyone compare the original Blad.1 with the b.2? My club was one of the very first to have the DF putters / fitting. I purchased one of the original mallets right after it was released. Not too many others at the club purchased one. They have a Blad.1 (brass head) that has been sitting there for ages. I have never been a fan of the Seemore head style. Therefore, i never even considered giving the Blad.1 a try. I have been following this thread for a long time and decided to give the b.2 a try. Must be due to the lack of other members buying the putters, the club doesn't have any b.2's available. So, i grabbed the Blad.1 not even knowing at first it was the original - actually thought it was the b.2. Putted for a long time today. Feel was tremendous. Heavy, but incredibly stable. Distance control was spot on with fast bermuda greens.

One of the things i really liked was the weight. Worried that the b.2 (described as the skinner cousin of the blad.1) will not have that feel. I was trying to think of a comparison of the Blad.1 to something else. The closest thing i came up with is the difference between an older titanium driver and a new composite driver (i.e. TM Sim). Just this solid "thud".

It also looks like L.A.B. Golf does not offer the original Blad.1 anymore. The one i used today may be my best option.

So I placed an order using the WRX coupon code yesterday. Had some doubts about the alignment aid I choose so I sent an email this morning asking about possibly switching....

Got a call this afternoon from David (I think. So sorry if I remember incorrectly, I'm horrible with names!) talking through my order. Long story short, he patched in Sam (CEO) and we talked about my set up, how I see square, etc. and he recommended something completely different from what I ordered. I was using a laser aid and the longer the alignment lines, the more left I aimed. Shorter the line, the more "on target" everything seemed so Sam recommended I go with alignment aid #2.

Long story short...LAB Golf customer service is absolutely second to none. Can't wait to get my putter!!

Can the Press 1.L work on a Left handed putter or will it be noticeably upside down/reversed?

I received my remote fitting information and am close to pulling the trigger. Small details left.

Having my specs from a SAM fitting I did recently, I purchased a 2.1 off eBay. Made the purchase following my annual golf trip to Bandon as one of the guys on that trip who historically was not a good putter was making good strokes on every green using this putter. He couldn’t speak highly enough about the impact of this putter on his life.

I've spent about 5 hours on a practice green and have one full round under my belt, I’m pretty optimistic with the results. Historically while I’m a good putter, I’ve always had to play with putter weighting and counterbalancing to smooth out my stroke with any given putter. With the 2.1, it felt automatic out of the box. Obviously the putter itself doesn’t just make the ball go in the hole, but I definitely worry less about my stroke. I’ve found that I get the ball started on my target line more often with this putter.

I have a couple issues.

I’m having issues lagging putts. Not sure if I’m just not used to the putter feel yet or it’s more of a function of the putter design. Regardless, my speed control needs some further work with this putter.I got a putter with the 2M Grip. It’s a little big for my taste. I’m having trouble figuring out the best method for holding the putter. I’m coming from an original Pingman grip so the size change is significant. Slowly feeling like I’ve figured out what works well, but not entirely comfortable with the size. I think I would’ve been better off with the original press grip. With all that being said I’m very optimistic with the results I’ve seen thus far.

Hoping someone from LAB Golf can answer. I love your putters. Took a flier on the original 2.0 off someone here. Loved it but it wasn’t fit exactly for me but Instantly saw my putting improve. Took a little while to figure out I didn’t need to play as much break as I was doing with the 2.0. Talked with Sam on a couple of PM’s and was told the new 2.1 was different than the 2.0 as it had different “guts”, weighting was different, etc. so I bought one and I could tell it wasn’t as “heavy” and I didn’t need to take as long a stroke. Then bought a 3rd 2.1 as it has a Stability Shaft. On fast greens it is ridiculous. Easy lag puts. Made me rethink my putting and with my increased confidence I pulled out an old blade Scotty custom I have. Rolled indoors on my putting mat and was doing very well. Not quite as good as the 2.1 but I was l felt good about my stroke.

sorry for the long story but wanted I wanted to find out was if I could do an actual fitting at the Reno site? Of course once the craziness is over. With my confidence up and not being as scared of a blade, I want to look at getting a blade putter and I like the look of the Blade2 in copper but wanted to get fitted before just plunking down. Also to see it side by side vs my 2.1 or even the copper Blade2 before making my final decision. Thanks.

The inventor, Bill Presse, does fittings. You can find him on the locator under "presse Putting Zone". That said, there really isn't much to the fitting other than making sure you feel comfortable. If the specs you have on your 2.1 is easy to set up to without having to manipulate your set up, you are good to go. You are welcome to do a remote fitting and use your 2.1 for the video and I (Sam) will take a look to make sure it all looks right.

I might be speaking in completely wrong/antiquated terms. But I’m curious on what the head weight is on a directed force 2.1? (~350 +/- )?

I’m trying to get an idea in my head on how heavy/light these putters may be. Also, I understand that shafts can impact feel/weight displacement.

Just pulled the trigger on a b.2. I purchased the original DF mallet immediately after it was released. No doubt lie balance works.

I was on Spring break last week and played around a lot with a Blad.1. Felt great. Ended up sending in an email to LAB Golf. Matt responded and we went through a ton of options. Ended up ordering a b.2 that is about 20g heavier than normal - much closer to the Blad.1 weight.

cant wait to get it. Home course opens tomorrow.

I believe the head is around 380 grams but can vary due to being balanced to your lie angle so each head is a little different weight. The putter feels lighter because of the lack of torque.

i have both the 2.0 and 2.1 models. For me the 2.0 feels a little more dead at impact. I have to take a longer stroke to get it to the hole and that causes some distance issues on longer putts. I can feel the face of the 2.1 a little more and now can shorten the stroke.
