Don’t get me wrong the 2.0 is great as well. I’m using the 2.0 on normal greens and the 2.1 on really quick greens.

The change in performance would be negligible. What grip do you have on it?

If you change it to another conventional grip, it'll have no effect whatsoever. If you change it to a press grip there will be a change to the balance but VERY unlikely it'd be enough to notice.

I’ve had more time with the 2.0 and so I’m used to it on distance control. It feels normal to me on regular greens. The 2.1 has a stability shaft and it feels more sensitive and lively off the face. I don’t play the quickest of greens as my normal course is more problematic off the tee and the greens have a lot of movement. So they are not that quick. On faster greens the 2.1 with Stability Shaft really does well.

Benched the putter for now. I just can't seems to get it working very well in terms of speed, direction, as you can read here or elsewhere, is really quite good. What also was bothering me is that I have a forward press, it isn't aggressive or anything where I really deloft the club too greatly.

However, when I press i've worked very hard to keep my hands in that position without flipping or adding loft at impact. And that is where my problem lies with this putter, with the press grip and overall loft on the putter I just don't present enough loft at impact and the ball just gets pounded down into the turf and seems to manifest itself as a push often. Maybe the press grip makes this worse with how forward it puts your hands? I'm not sure exactly, if it negatively affected my stroke i can't say I really liked the press grip. In terms of feel the grip is nice though, shape is fairly similar to a flatso but a bit bigger, doesn't have much depth but has a lot of width. While i'm glad i tried this putter i just don't think its for me, i've been getting considerably more consistent results from more standard putters, namely my DH89 and my Slighter slant neck Cameron x5.

If you already have some forward press built into your stroke, you might try putting a conventional grip on your DF. We have quite a few customers who do this. Also make sure the ball position is a bit more forward than you are used to. Sorry its not out performing your other putters! I bet we can fix that! You also might enjoy the B.2 whch can be ordered with a conventional grip and has a traditional 3° of loft.

@labgolf if I decide to cut my B.2 down 1/2” will it affect the lie angle balance or any performance other than reducing swing weight?

Mostly just swing weight. Dending on the grip, it may throw it out of balance ever so slightly but still will be way more torque free than anything else out there

Just got my DF 2.1t and I'm having a very difficult time finding the start lines. Trying multiple ball positions and I think it needs to be really far forward, which is uncomfortable for me.

36". 72* lie angle. Maybe could have gone a degree more upright

I want to love this putter I just don't know if it's going to kick out my Spider x Tour

Should be closer to middle of stance with presse grip. Give it a chance, won't be immediate as it's different than what you've been using.

With the DF, I needed to have the shaft center, so the ball was up quite a bit.

I was the same way when I got mine. My initial issue was that I was so used to a natural forward press that I felt like I was not forward pressing but actually was. Thus, I felt like I had to play it further forward in my stance than needed. I corrected myself after knocking it around a few days by checking to make sure the grip was perfectly perpendicular to the ground (at least according to my eye). Looking at my hands and grip is still in my preshot routine. I line up the putter head while holding grip with left hand only, place my right hand on the grip and then look at the grip to make sure it's perpendicular before making my back stroke.
I found that where the shaft enters the putter head is the very middle of my stance. I don't know if this is "right" or not but it's what I found works for me. @labgolf feel free to correct me here if i'm way off.

For me the shaft is directly in the middle of the stance... So i just put the putter behind the ball, then take my stance so the shaft is right in the middle. Wherever the putter face and ball are after that is where they should be

We have no plans to make them anytime soon. I haven't heard of anyone making them for sale. I know a few guys have dabbled but nothing serious.

Look what just arrived. Too bad it's 40 degrees and 30 mph winds. Weekend looks promising. Messed around with original Blad last month during Spring Break and really liked it. Matt at Lab Golf worked with me on this build. We made some custom tweaks with head weight and a few other things. The new Press II 1.5 grip seems like a nice improvement over the original oval grip. Feel is amazing. Can't wait to roll in on real grass.

Well if anyone is interested in the B2, I just put mine up for sale on BST. It could not knock out the 2.1 for me. As much as I loved the feel and look, I am just better with a mallet! I am glad a purchased it to give it a try because now I know. Still a huge fan of Lie Angle Balancing but I like the 2.1 better than the B2
