Love the putters I have on DF 2.1t and waiting on my order for my DF 2.1 with the ACCRA shaft.  I have a question about aim with the putter head so far ahead in my stance, does it naturally aim toward the left that way?  The second question I have is with the DF 2.1t in red is it possible to change the alignment aid on top of the putter.

I would send these inquiries through the site.

What is the difference between a DF 2.1T and a DF 2.1? I recently purchased a DF 2.1T but don’t recall there being another one.

From 2.1 to 2.1T (and T2, T7) they changed the weights to tungsten and then different positioning of the screws (especially noticeable in T2 vs T7).

It was for easier balancing iIrc. The T7 specifically allows for easier adjusting for desired swingweight whithout screwing the balance

edit: just the fact that I know this might be a hint that I have spent too much time in this thread lol

Finally received my DF2.1 today. Took it out to see how it was. It's definitely nice. Huge, but nice. Spent maybe an hour going back and forth with my other two gamers, and it's held its own.

I can't say it's been a breakthrough improvement in results, but it does have a very natural feel and swing weight. Not sure about the OG grip yet, but I like the technology behind it.

Give it a minute. I would try to stick with DF for a few sessions without using the others. Then when you go back you will REALLY feel the difference and understand the point of the tech. LET the putter stay square, don't KEEP it square

Got mine last night, rolls great on the carpet!  Definitely feels different, in a good way.  Not as big and/or ugly as I feared, I must say.

Can't say enough good things about dlow206 at Bort Golf and the buying process.  He fitted me by video before Lab Golf did, and the specs matched what Liam eventually did spot on.  Much quicker too.  Easy, quick, accurate and responsive.  Kudos.

Got a B2 about 7 weeks ago.  Got 9 rounds or so with it.  Finally starting to get a feel for distance control and trusting the ball will start online if I just put a good swing on it.  I had to undo some compensations from my previous putter which is also still a bit of a work in progress.  However, today I matched my best ever number of putts with 22.  Shot 70 and did have a chip in birdie, but made pretty much everything inside of 10' and a couple of longer ones.  Lots of fringe putts too.  I don't go that low with putts without a good number of 2 putts from the fringe.

Still hitting some putts off the toe, but it's getting better.  Love to finally have a putter not fighting me.

bunta, I like it a lot!  Others that have tried it say it feels heavy, but that could just be that I play it at 37" long and it may of been just to long for them.

I like the style of the grip a lot with the forward press, but I was not a fan of the grip feel.  I have put a tennis grip wrap on it and that seems to work great for me.

The putter swings great.  I can't explain it but it has a nice balance to it.  It feels great on center hits, but it is not the most forgiving on toe or heel hits compared to a mallet style putter.  I tested both the 2.1 and b2 before ordering the b1.  Although the 2.1 felt more foregiving on mis hits, I have played blade style putters for most of my life so I went with the one that was familiar to my eye.

I have had mine for about a year and half and my putting stats have improved and have become a much more consistent putter round to round.  I think they have a great product.

I was going to start a new topic about the 2.1 and how happy I am with it, but came across this thread.

I was literally giggling today because of how awesome this thing is to me. Putting has always been a weakness of mine. I remember a college tournament shooting 72-71 with eight 3 putts in the two rounds. That was about 13 years ago though…

I’ve had the putter for a couple of weeks now, but have been healing from a slipped rib. So my use has been more limited than I’d like.

Mine is fitted with the Accra black shaft and has a great feel. I did a combo on the #18 and #19 alignment lines. Very easy to aim and great feel. I can definitely tell there’s less of a fight to keep the putter square to path, especially during the takeaway.

The biggest benefit I’ve noticed is going to be with lag putting. I struck some putts off the extreme toe and heal (tested of course) and got very consistent distance compared to center strikes. This will take a lot of pressure off hitting longer putts solid for the distance you’re looking for.

At any rate, couldn’t be happier and can’t wait to get this out and in more use once I’m fully healed.

@labgolf is it possible to send a 2.1 back and have an alignment marking added across the face of the putter like option 1?  My putter was a second hand purchase and I love option 28, but wanted to pair it with option 1.

If not no worries.  Still love the putter!

That particular addition is possible. Email [email protected]

Got my results from the remote fitting and have placed an order on the DF 2.1 at 36" with a 66 deg lie angle. Never seen the putter IRL and obviously never tried it. However, this thread and a lot of Youtube had me convinced. I am going with the blue head, Press II grip, alignment number 14 (triangle) and the BGT Stability Tour Polar shaft. So excited!

You wont regret it. Tech is legit and the blue looks awesome

I have used my 35”, 72* Directed Force putter with the #1 alignment aid for four rounds. I had been using a Stainless steel mallet putter with identical specs since changing my stroke early this year, along with a Spider S. The Spider has been my gamer for 3 years until the stroke change. With the mallet,I averaged 32.8 putts, and the Spider 34.6 this year.

My first three rounds I had 36, 36 and 34 putts. 5 three putts in the first round, and 3 each in the next two. I struggled with short putts, as well, missing several great opportunities to save par.  I use the same tempo for all putts, which seemed to vary with their recommended method.  I loved the technology and believe in it and continued to practice indoors and outa frequently as possible working on distance control.

My 4th round was part of an annual tournament with friends and I had a career  ball striking day hitting 16 greens and missing the other 2 by 18”, but nothing inside the leather. After 10 straight pars, I made a 50’ putt on 11; 28’ on 13; and from 34’ on 16. Finished the round with 31 putts on 10-day old aerated greens and a 69. It was my first round in the 60s this century, and I didn’t birdie any par 5s, which is where I get most of my birdies. I still need to work on my short putting, but I have been very impressed with the great distance control on longer putts in my last round and recent practice sessions.
