WHHHHHAAAA? New Mizuno ST-200, ST-200G and ST-200X Drivers!

The Mizuno tour van threads on here show tons of shots of both the 200 and 200G with many of the 200 shots showing the weight removed. Looks like there would be lots of area there for adding lead tape underneath should you want more discrete weight.

One of the three heads is a light version. Ala the Titleist TS1 or epic flash star. These are good looking clubs. I love the Mizuno is making a push into the full line market.

Mizuno definitely seem to be upping their game when it comes to drivers. Now, if they could just get them into the hands of more than the odd one or two on tour they might gain some traction.

Other than the sligh draw bias... the JPX 850 I used to have was one of my favorite hybrids I've ever used. Honestly, they are making big leaps in the wood market now as far as design goes... and it seems like the numbers are starting to show they can keep up with the big boys. This could be the year I give Mizuno woods a go.

The biggest difference from what I am hearing is the switched from SP700 Ti to beta Ti.

They are great, but it's not selling well and certainly is not making money for them.

Similar titanium blend to what Exotics uses in their fairway woods and if you know exotics, you know these will be fast.

Interesting... what effect would it have on feel, if any? I played the TE EXS driver for a minute and thought it felt great, the ST190 a little firm but loved the results. I guess I could wait for the 200 if they are trying to up ball speeds. The 190g has given me the fastest ball speeds of any driver I have tried to date, just wasn't as forgiving as I would have liked.

Love my st190. Possibly the best sounding driver ever and seems like the 190 just begs to be hit harder. Only driver I've ever played that I can swing out of my shoes and not have to worry about it going left. I do like the sole of the 190 better I believe then what I'm seeing on the 200.

Are there any new shafts being released with this? Ima Mizuno guy and the best part about this company is the shafts you get. You get REAL SHAFTS, none of that crap all the other companies are doing. ST190/200, SIM and Speedback I cant wait to hit in 2020.

I hit one with a Diamana 60 in it. These drivers are pretty good. The biggest change is the changed from SP700 TI to beta.

If it’s anything like what I think it is, it will be very soft and springy off the face, feedback will be just average at best but these will be fast, Mizuno has been working very hard on woods for the past few years and the ST-190 was the only driver that kept pace with my G410

The way they are gonna be priced in Sweden at 4000 sek usually means a pricetag in the US of $400. thats for the regular ST200 and then 4500 för the 200G which should come out to $450. So a great driver at a great price should equal marketshares
