PING 2020...

I much prefer the line design over the huge PING branding on my '17 Birdie Blue Hoofer. I also prefer the older dual strap; although I haven't tried the new one on course. Excited to see the Crazelite. Have been eyeing ultra light bags for awhile.

Looking forward to seeing new models as I just ordered the camo traverse. Did it due to black friday sales.

On its way shipping. But don't want regret over new designs. I preferred the pioneer but wanted the camo colour.

 

Wonder if they expand that colour this coming season?

I’m after a hoofer stand bag this coming season. Will probably go for the monsoon. Anyone know if it works with a trolley/push cart?

I use my current Hoofer & Hoofer Monsoon on a trolley most of the time and they work well - the new style looked quite different when I saw the pictures on our rep's iPad with the Monsoon version in some pretty bright colours for the UK market.

Well I need to look at Ping Mascot bags to match the bags we have plus I need a ping moonlite bag. The website no longer show these options and my rep in my area has not responded to my email.

I hated the hoofer/lite last year so I'm really hoping they fix some of the layout issues with the bag.

I enjoyed my Hoofer 14 for several years but decided to go with a Ping DLX bag and matching head covers..............with a clic gear cart that I got in their Black Friday deals at a great discount.

The Ping DLX bag is stunning......extremely well made and plenty of pockets etc.

Just wondering if they will update the DLX in 2020

Finally got to see the 2020 catalog!

Ping must have been reading my mind with the Tropical Hoofer Lite! Really like that is has a cart strap pass through.

I’m very disappointed in the L8. Love the classic look however how in the hell is that bag 5 lbs?!

Looks like they fixed the strap (or un-fixed it..!). Only problem now is that the Navy L8, Black/Grey/Blue Craz-E-Lite and Black Hooferlite's all look great.

thanks for posting, can always count on someone on golfwrx to come through! Regular Hoofer colors a bit dissapointing but a couple good colors in that lineup. Crazelite looks great to me and hoofer lite looks pretty good as well, couple good colors to choose from. I might be digging that tropical color way too. Definitely an improvement over last generation. Looks like the material on the l8 is different than the other bags, probably same material as back in the day so that is reason it's 5lbs. Nolthing to get upset over though, I mean when it comes down to it one or two pounds is nothing.

The designs are much improved from last year. With the exception of crazelite they’re all so heavy compared to the new Titleist offerings.

Thanks - I have a powakaddy electric trolley - will that fit the hoofer stand? Thanks for all your help, I had a nightmare a couple of years ago with a Titleist 4up waterproof standbag which was too short for the trolley....

Their material is much thicker and durable than sun mountain and possibly titleist too but they also have lifetime warranty from rips etc. sun mountain warranty is like a year because their material is so thin.

Craze-Lite is a great bag. I'll be getting one to replace my Titleist. It will be great for travelling with and the occasional time I need to carry.

Looks of Hoofer and Hoofer Lite look better than last year, but I still prefer the look of the 2016-2017 models, as well as the sliding straps of the '16- '17 models. Luckily I found a new 4 Series from '16 recently so I'm good for awhile.

I answered my own question. It looks like the cart bags except the Monsoon are the same. The catalog says Re-Designed or New Bag. The cart bags don't say either.

It's because I just got the Pioneer and was wondering if I should wait for the 2020 but it looks like a color change only for the seasonal stuff.

Exactly. Basically the Crazy lite is a redesigned bag Hoofer lite, because the hoofer lite is 5lbs now. And how the heck is the L8 5lb? My old L8 from the 90s is <3lbs. I think Ping missed the boat.

I like the look of the new Pioneer Monsoon. I was never a fan of the "birdie blue" accents. It looks like they have gotten rid of a pocket on the left side. I can't really say whether that's a good or bad thing. It's a shame that the catalog doesn't shot the right side of the bag. I guess I may have to wait for it to hit stores before seeing everything.

I like the new Hoofer. I've been looking at getting one for awhile but didn't like that the large pocket wasn't a full length zipper and I didn't care for the graphics on it last year. Looks like they fixed both so I'll be getting one this year.
