Got my putter today from UPS, unfortunately the SuperStroke grip is slightly misaligned. It's a fine putter but nothing too special. It's probably going back due to the alignment issue.

Yeah it makes me pull putts Don't need that in your head while standing over a putt. I can try to fix it but I don't know if its worth the effort.

I guess you could needle off the grip and straighten it out but I wouldn’t mess with it personally.

Is yours slightly favoring the right side too when you're holding it and looking down at the topline?

The grip is turned slightly to the right when looking down. so when squaring it up the club face closes slightly.

Yep same as mine. I didn't plan on loving this putter so this makes it easy to take back and get that full refund.

Saw them today in our Costco here in Scottsdale...picked it up and took some swings with it.

Very unimpressed. Feels and looks like the cheap Scotty knock off it is supposed to be.

 

Left it there. I think most will be disappointed with this. Kudos to them for the effort...makes

for an interesting conversation anyway.

My putter delivered today. No quality issues with it, including the grip install. Hit about 50 putts on my putt-out mat and it didn’t really wow me or underwhelm me either. I am use to heavier putters, so it was a bit light for my taste. Doubt I will find the weight kit available online again and I don’t plan to pay $$$ for one from the bay, so I ordered a 50g weight for the grip from Golfworks to see if that makes it feel better in my hands. Taking it out on the course tomorrow.

It’s not a bad attempt. Head cover is trash. Putter actually feels pretty decent for price point. I’ll roll it for a while and see where we go. May throw the counter core in there and see how it rolls.

This seems like it was really an anticipated putter for many. Seems like most of the comments about it from folks who have it are either ambivalent or negative. Does anyone think it lived up to all the hype/anticipation?

Haven’t seen much discussion about the back of the neck being a different material or color to help with squaring the putter at address. Has this same thing been used in other putters? Kind of a similar concept as the Seemore dots or Scotty’s rip off of them a while back.

I’m not sure I’m thrilled with the feel - but then again I don’t like the feel of any milled putters like Scott Cameron’s or bettinardi’s I’ve played with at the stores, I guess I’m just not a fan of milled putters. I like a very soft insert and muted feel. Where the toe and heel hits are harsh and you know you missed the sweet spot. The method matter I have fits the bill. Whether cast or milled the sweet spot has a rzn insert that really mutes the feel (sound?) and is soft, yet solid when you hit it right when I do miss toe or heel, I know it.

in a way that’s similar to why I like my vapor pros vs the vapor fly pros or any other gi iron I’ve hit. But I digress...

I think it absolutely lived up to my expectations, especially given the price. For a milled (albeit not fully milled) the feel is excellent. I like it better than any other true, extra priced, milled putters I’ve tried. The insert this uses makes the acoustics nice and soft and feedback wise, I know when I’ve hit the toe and heel as well. I’m also not a huge fan of blade putters, as I’ve mentioned a few times previously, and prefer mid mallets. I’ve certainly putted well decently since tinkering with this club, but wedge game sure has helped with that so I’m not going to give all the credit to the putter. New gamer? No, never was going to be.

so tl:dr - yes it has lived up to my level of anticipation. 4.5 outta 5 ⭐️ only because it was sitting in label created mode for 3days or so before getting picked up and shipped, as well as a garbage headcover.
