Yeah I thought I was getting my gen 3 311T on 15th Jan. But they arrived on Tuesday played my first round with them 2day nice 3 under handicap on first round.

I hit these yesterday and very impressed. The feel just as good as Gen 2 but didn't have them side by side so can't comment on differences. Flight was spot on. Spin numbers were as well. Great irons IMO and looking at the difference between the Gen 2 and Gen 3 is minimal from thee playing position. The Gen 3 has a white line on the last groove that I like now.

The sole width looks a fraction more narrow on the P and on the T verse the last Gen. Heel to toe looks exactly the same but that was from the eye. cant see a significant toppling or shape change to comment on. Love the new look though. They cavity side has mill marks though out. Touch of class.

I just threw up a little. By the design, they look to be quite forgiving... but I don't know that I could bag them without getting rid of my breakfast every time I pulled them out of the bag.

going through this thread is making me crazy. My timeline might have been moved up on getting new irons early next year. Guess I’ll finally sell my one of my sets of Gen 2’s. Probably the backup as it’s never been played except for a few rounds when I took them to Cabo last year.

Those look very nice but I can’t justify the cost of their wedges. Trust me I have a lot of their clubs and others and don’t mind spending and the feel of the first gen milled wedges was very nice. But I go through wedges more than any other club. I wanted to buy them but I just couldn’t ever pull the trigger.

Feel is amazing, forgiveness is amazing, fresh grooves so spin is great on everything. Wear is pretty good, a few toe scuffs from bag chatter is my only complaint. The T’s look amazing at address. Inspires a lot of confidence to work the ball. If you can bag them, I recommend it.
