I have a set of the 0311 forged and the 0311t Sugar Daddy wedges. Both perform identically. I like the bounce options on the milled versions better, but the bounce of the 0311 forged is versatile enough. I prefer the low bounce lob wedge available in the milled wedges.

I have the new 0311 forged wedges and the Sugar Daddy’s. Definitely more spin on the Sugar Daddy’s though I prefer the bounce on the new forged wedges. They spin enough but I have to plan for a little run out whereas the Sugar Daddy’s checked up really quick. I just find the new forged wedges easier to get through the ball from a variety of lies and sand.

How long are those that have ordered Gen 3 irons having to wait until their orders ship? I ordered a set of 0311Ts with KBS Tour V shafts on April 15 and the tracking information for the order still only shows that the order was received and has not advanced any further.

I checked on my order yesterday. They are on April 16 order builds right now. Definitely running behind, but I personally know multiple people that have bought full sets in past 4 weeks so they must be booming right now.

I have a driving iron, 3 sugar daddy’s, and Proto X with Ventus incoming by end of the month with a little luck.

Typical build time is usually 7-10 days, with the sales during COVID its been about 14-21 days, I would guess yours ship out end of week.

 

Call them though, their customer service is top notch.

I agree on their customer service. PXG quickly responds to emails. Unfortunately, I just found out that there is a delay getting shafts in from KBS that is delaying the build on my clubs.

Got my gen 3's 6 days after I ordered. Picked up in Scottsdale though.

On another note...

The Gen 3P's are significantly longer than my old z785's and i ordered these 1 degree weak on lofts. They are at least 5 MPH faster club to club. I'm worried about gapping and don't really need any extra distance. I am wondering if anyone has gone 2 degrees weak on lofts and if there is any issues with the added bounce? Otherwise, would I be better off switching into the T model and going 1 (or 2) degree weak on those? I'm about 95-98 MPH 7 iron.

Stuck between the XP and P, yet nowhere to demo as of late, anyone try a combo?

Just got my custom combo set in from fairway jockey. I was really having a tough decision between going all P's or all T's. I ended up calling an audible and going Gen3 P 4 iron and PING i210 5-PW due to some stage fright. I also wanted the 105TX MMT shafts which were more of an upcharge from PXG than from fairway jockey. The MMT shafts are crazy expensive. The i210 heads are crazy inexpensive. I needed a new iron set because I need to switch back to graphite after giving steel one last shot.

My biggest apprehension was that the T's might be too small based on photos and what others have said. Based on the P 4 iron, I think that going all P's would have been the right move for me. The P 4 iron blends perfectly with the i210's size-wise and may actually be a hair more compact looking than the i210 5 iron. I know for me personally, the iblade, S55 and Blueprints are all way way way too small for my taste so I think I made the right choice in not going with the T's. But I really really wanted to go with the T's.

I also have a Gen2 hybrid on the way. Pretty excited after 7 weeks of no golf.
