A cancer like Reed can spread quickly and aggressively. Whether that is the cause of this slaughter, I do not know. He (Reed) is definitely tone deaf, though. As mentioned above, Scoreboard, bro... you don't celebrate tying a hole while you are two down.

just seems like this team is full of guys who haven’t played since September. I find this weird because I’d have figured the young guys playing for Tiger would have been motivated to be sharp entering the competition.

I don't think the US gives a care.

They'd be better off with 12 guys that were willing to go a week early and get some practice in. Rather than jet it over 2 days before the event, some after taking off 1-2 months. Same thing in the Ryder Cup where they don't get adjusted, but that is caused by it being right after the TC. The US does one of these every year. The other teams do it every other year. I think it's boring to the US. Maybe if there was some real coin on the line.

Not an excuse. They are getting waxed and can't putt. But I think the real story of the last Ryder Cup and this event is after a long season and doing a team event the year prior, they may want to win but don't really put the effort into winning. Not even sure I can blame them for that.
