The gentleman who runs/designs/operates the CNC shop that manufactures putters for Piretti is an amazing talent. He has created putters that would make your jaw drop. This headshape is based on the

Or like the one in my avatar pic Also, the bumpers should be more square and NP2-like, the Piretti is quite rounded from address. Still a very nice putter, but...

GBJGELTDSED5.jpgStay tuned.....the GOAT has been in my hands for 5 hours now.... long enough for testing with 3 different shafts , weighting to my preferred static and balance

I will post comparison pictures with a few of my Scotty's and custom Piretti's tomarrow......

Been rolling a few on the carpet...feel is perfect , ..

K3IB8O2VU11O.jpgFinal build specs of my G.O.A.T.....

Head: 350 gram , loft 2° , lie 69° , length 34.5" Shaft : KBS C-Taper 3 iron tipped 1.5" and weighted to 145 grams using sugar and foam backing rod , to bring total static weight up to total of 555 grams , balanced to a swing weight of E-2 , with a 58 gram Gripmaster stitchback Tacki-Roo Tour grip , black...

Thanks...refreshing to see a putter with tastefully done engravings , naked bumpers , sole , and hosel stem.......sometimes, less is more..

Looks and feels better than new with C-Taper 3 iron shaft tipped 1.5" I installed .....softer feel , and the satin finished shaft matches head finish perfectly..

Thank you for the pictures and feedback. I look forward to seeing some comparison photos. Here is a picture of a Tiger Woods' backup from GolfVox that I thought is interesting for comparisons sake. Looks like it could use a little clean up on the hosel especially for 10,000,000 yen or $90,770

Though much is taken much abides;
We are not now that strength which in old days
Moved earth and heaven, that which we are, we are;
One equal temper of heroic hearts,
Made weak by time and fate, but strong in will
To strive, to seek, to find, and not to yield.
- Lord Tennyson

I promised comparison photos...sorry for the delay ...been busy with my real job , and doing an "emergency " build / 3 way head and shaft swap for 2 guys going on a golf trip ( 3 sets of irons )...

My amatuer pictures suck...I'll try to use words to describe similarities later.....

AP0FS7XBPJQZ.jpgHaving purged my collection of early of Newport 2's due to light head weights and sight lines on the flange , these three share similar characteristics to the G.O.A.T....Topline thickness: Newort Beach 1.5 Studio Stainless and Newport Studio Select. are very close ( within .005" ).....Sole width: same 2 Newports are within .03"......Sole length ,heel to toe: same as the Newport 2.7 ( .125" longer than the others).. Profile, face height G.O.A.T is lowest , closest to the Studio Stanless....the best comparison for a similar Scotty for overall specs will be a NP2 Studio Stainless......we will let the Piretti pics speak for themselves......( one missing, the 801R is at my office. ).........

Ordered a 335g, sight dot yesterday, couldn't help myself.  They have one more 335g sight dot available.  Free shipping, no tax, 10% off code came to $855 total.  Actually got an email that it's shipped and arriving Monday, glad I went with free shipping if it's shipped that quickly.  Bought a 1 off Bettinardi long neck hand stamp last year with the same clean sole but listed it on Ebay last night!  main reason for buying was the fact that there is no milling on the face and a clean sole.  Will post pics next week!  Ordered it with no grip installed so I can pop a pingman blackout on it Monday and really make it as close to Tiger's as possible.  Will I putter better with it?  Probably not but i'm hoping I have a damn fun time with it this year!

Not.....Even though our greens are slow and bumpy this time of year, I have walked off the course after every one of the 7 or 8 rounds thinking to myself ...wow ..." made more than my share of putts today"...

I think the smooth face is just a little hotter than my mid - deep mill faced GSS putters , smoothing my stroke , and eliminating the added " hit " that usually creeps into my stroke this time of year...

Really, really..... Really Like my G.O.A T...
