In actuality- the putter slot is not where I would predict any issue, I just like putters quite a bit?, all of similar style, so got that going for me, which is nice. Just because I might have insinuated your set-up looked strange without trusty Nickent hybrids last year, no need to plant a seed in my fragile mind??

@Mitchell Not to worry, the trusty Genex's are in the garage, just biding their time. They aren't going anywhere. In fact, since we last spoke, I've added an 18.5° & 21.5° to the quiver. I now have the 1, 2, 3+, 3, 4+, 4, 5, & 6 (although its beat to within an inch of its life)! I suppose I should be on the lookout for a 2+, lol!

The weather made me do it. I put a hybrid in the bag instead of my faithful 5 wood. I also tested the new taylormade tour response ball. It reminds me of first generation chromesoft. I made it 3 weeks. Better luck next year!

Apart from the driver, which every year I say I'll upgrade, this bag is probably set for 2020

The 56 degree isn't a million miles away from wearing out so that's at risk but it'll only be a like for like swap

Question just for clarification... if I "test" a different club, that doesn't matter as long as I don't buy/bag it correct? What if a person was to buy a club, but never actually bag it? Say a putter for instance?

I'm interested in the last part as well. Found a set of very good condition lefty 50/54/58 Ping Glide Forged wedges at a local DSG for a song and may pick them up just on principle depending on how some quick testing goes (yah right). Even if they don't go in the bag...

A club that stays in permanent "testing" stage, or that is purchased, but lives in the garage until a future date, does not violate the rules of the BIS Challenge. That said, it is a slippery slope..... First it stays in the garage. Then it goes into the trunk, just for testing. Then it stares at you on Saturday morning, asking you why it has to stay in the trunk while all of its friends get to go play. I'd be very careful, especially if said club is a putter!

Noted. I know it's a slippery slope, and probably moreso in my case since it would likely be wedges before a putter... but now I know, and knowing is half the battle.

Have been hanging on to a set of new Miura CB 1008 heads, and finally the inability to play here in the Northeast got the better of me. Sent them to Continental to get all shafted up with Tour Issue S400s, and they arrived this week. Have not officially played with these, but as you can see below - there are “in the bag”!

Its the spousal units fault that she switched to a Spider putter in Dec and left her Odyssey Teron hanging around for me to hit a few practice putts. Its now in the bag.
