Changed almost everything, because, why not. Same fairway head, just changed up shafts that brought the flight/spin down a touch. I'm sure I'll either buy a whole new set up in the next 2 months or just build a whole other bag. Also picked up a set of Muirfield JN 1-SW with 1/3/5 woods, because, why not...

First guy in this year and I am now... OUT!

Completely blew up the top of my bag with some 150% trade-in bonuses. Picked up new Callaway Mavrik driver and 3 wood along with a Rogue Heavenwood. I'm also going to stick with my 40th birthday present Scotty Studio Stainless Newport 2. Once again, like last year, I will be starting the year with 14 different clubs than I began the 2019 season. What in the hell is wrong with me?!?

I'm out. Bought a 410 LST head on a whim, another set of irons for no reason, and a couple wedges.

Winter boredom is freaking expensive!

I swear if I could play year round I wouldn't buy anything buy balls.

This year I actually have confidence I can keep the bag all season. I had the hybrids, (most) of the irons, and wedges from last year. Changing my driver, mid irons, and putter. No golf activities yet due to a hip injury at the end of last year, however I am finally ready to play.

Driver - Cobra F9

Hybrids - Mizuno JPX 900 3h, 4h

Irons - 5,6,7 Callaway Big Bertha OS, 8-AW Callaway Apex 19

Wedges - Ping Glide 3.0 52, 60

Putter - Bettinardi INOVAI 6.0

Does it count if I haven't played any official rounds? If not I failed Jan 4th.

29th February and the dream is over...

I've put my Titleist 718 cbs back in the bag, taking out my mizuno 919 tour / MP 68 mixed set following a trackman gapping session - the tours went a bit too far to mix with the MP 68s

Equally I've taken the 56 degree out of my 52 / 56 / 60 set up and bent the 52 to 53 degrees. The 56' grooves were starting to wear down and the lower spin messed with the gapping again

Taking the 56 out also gave me room for a driving iron which now sits between my hybrid and 4 iron, which is a nice option to have

3 wood - Titleist 910f 15°

Hybrid- Titleist 910h°

Irons - Mizuno 919 Tour 4 - PW

Putter - Yes! Callie

I think they are referring to the official golf season. Ofically my season in MN doesn’t start until April 1st so I don’t think I had to “count” my two Florida rounds but I did.

I’ve messed it up. Tour AD shaft ordered for my driving iron and considering swapping my 8.5 head for a 9.5 simply because I like to have the shaft in position A1 on the surefit hosel.

And... I'm out already. After finally hitting on a trackman for a few weeks, I noticed that my carry distance for my 4 and 5 irons was identical so I ordered a Callaway Apex 3-4 hybrid. Made it until March this year!! Time to accept the reality that I don't have the swing speed to make a 4 iron worth it.

Out already, sad I'm out on the same page of the thread that I entered on haha

..as I kinda expected the gap and Sand wedges got replaced with vokeys.

Also, the Tensei AV blue got replaced with a KKDC 60tx. I like it but it's piqued my interest in that profile so I also have a pro orange coming to try that.

I'm out before I'm even in. As usual up in Canada season starts late, hopefully early April but who knows with the current situation going on. I have a fitting end of April so I'll probably get in a round or two before my fitting. But I hope after my fitting I stick with what I have especially my putter.

I’m now out after adding a 5 iron to my AP1 718 set and taking out the 816 5 hybrid. While I was at it I took the 910h 21* hybrid out and put my trusty 904F 19* 5 wood back in the bag.

The only purchase was the 5 iron.

I'm still holding strong, if you can say that after you are OUT, lol. The Mavrik driver head change has still been the only change that has me no longer in the running. I have gone to a SC Pistolero grip on my Odyssey putter, but try as I might, I just can't pull the trigger on anything else. Sure, I REALLLLLLYYYYYY want a Mavrik SZ 13.5 head, a 64 degree PM grind, a 14 degree tour issue rocket launcher anti-left hybrid, blah blah blah. We all want what we don't have, not necessarily what will help us play better.

Can't wait to get back to normal and get my Super Hybrid in the bag though!
