Never played K G&CC....not surprised you scored well as it's not sloped difficult....I think you are a golf pro...but 6700 yds is not considered short for many many golfers.

 

Don't know if you have played these.

IMO.....Big Horn above the hwy is meh.....Rivershore has great conditions but kinda boring

Just wondering why you rank Tobiano above the Bandon group of courses.  I mean they are ocean front, golf just golf, great accommodations, no train tracks, and again ocean front.

 

Nothing beats the Bandon experience it was the greatest week of my life. (Not sure if that is sad or awesome haha)

 

I think Tobiano if it was transplanted and swapped with Chambers or Trails would be world renowned. How lucky are we? I played it for 60 bucks a month or so ago!

 

I love the challenge and how well maintained it is. I only dislike 1 hole (The first hole!) and I can name a few on each of the other courses that were kind of 'meh' to me.

 

Chambers was great too. I think it was 13 amazing holes and 5 mediocre ones though. The US Open tees were being built when I was there and it was kind of rigged up and routed in a weird way while it was being made for the open. 

 

Gamble was fun as hell. It was such an easy forgiving place and the resort is great. If it added one more course I would go there every chance I could!

 

All of them are amazing though don't get me wrong. I just think we are spoiled to have such an amazing course like Tobiano in "northern BC". It would be a 400 dollar round anywhere else haha.

I think the Dunes being boring is totally true. I like making it my 'ice breaker' first round haha. Everything is in front of you and its pretty simple to navigate and play.

 

I remember Eagle Point before all the trees got infected and removed. At one point it was incredible. Kind of like PG Golf club up where I live. It hosted the 2000 BC am if I remember and then a short time after the pine beetle ravaged it.
