The blanks definitely look like the returning 006. I’d say that “Tiger” putter is a 615 with rounded off bumpers.

I was under the impression that 006 (apparently, it’s called 620 now) is making a return.

Yeah, the 006 return was confirmed on another forum a bit ago; just wasn’t sure if this was in addition or equal to. The tri-sole suggests the latter, especially as I don’t think Byron has any naked stainless 615s in stock (suggesting that may be discontinued?). Have to believe release is soon if it’s just down to face milling and finishing the raw heads...

Maybe it's weird but, my buddy has a very high end scotty that is a " display piece" with super squared lines.

 

I love it, but I know it won't be retail, and he dropped 9k on that stick, so....

 

I'm hoping for a normal guys version. Otherwise, I'm going to goodwood.

Definitely an updated 006, don’t know if there are any differences besides the stock face milling that’s supposed to be a “deeper twilight” face milling.

I recently placed an order for a 612 through Byron and happened to ask if he had anymore 006 heads and when he told me he would have some “very soon” I cancelled the 612 and am waiting on the 006, which I guess he is calling the 620

Were the corners of the lower bumpers rounded off by Byron by hand or did he change the CNC program to make them a little more rounded?

 

I bought a 615 when they first came out but the corners of the lower bumpers were really square/sharp. I ended up rounding them off myself but was never really satisfied with the results and ended up selling the putter.

 

Also, what's the headweight on that beauty?

I cannot comment on Scotty1140's 615. I do agree stock 615 is "sharp". I have a 615 with "Tai treatment", which is much appealing to my eyes.

I had the corners rounded off.

I liked the changes Byron made from the 006 to the 615 as it changed a few things that bugged me about the 006, particularly the blocky neck. However, I also think the lower bumpers are way too sharp on the 615 though.

So it’s a stock 615 with softened bumper corners. I asked for 350g. I’ve never weighed it but it feels right on.

I was obviously looking for a very Tiger like putter. It came out perfect.

I've been in contact with Byron the past two months. Originally was going to do a tri-sole 612 and right before I sent my order form, I decided to ask if he has any 006 heads available, just for the hell of it. To my surprise, he proceeded to tell me soon he would. So I cancelled my order and put the order in for a 006, what now he's made known is going to be the 620. So my order is in and patiently waiting, the longer I've been waiting , the more changes I've been making lol

I sent Byron an email inquiring about a LH 620. Unfortunately there are no LH heads "yet". I told him I'll be first in line when he has LH heads available. I'll make do with my 006 for now.

To me, it looks like 620 is 615 with ears in the pocket. At least from Facebook pictures.

There is something slightly different in the neck as well. I'm sure more info will come out once people have detailed pictures.

The neck looks a little less blocky than the 006 to me.
