I’m outside the norm here, I love my gen 1 0811X. I was fit for it with the loft set lower, weights set forward, and a T1100 evenflow white 6.5. I drive the ball extremely well and wouldn’t be half bad if I could chip. I’ll be curious to see this new driver come to light.

I am a fan of the Gen 2 X driver’s look and sound. I like the way the crown aesthetics make it easy to aim. Underrated driver IMO.

good lord, first the Gen 3 irons and the ST’s and now a Gen 3 driver. I’ve also had a couple in 19 and I guess I’ll have another in 20. The XF was just too left for me but the X was a great driver. I just liked the M5 and 410LST but now I’ve moved to the TS3 to play with. I know the ho in me will get it when it comes out.

also as another person stated their Gen 2 stuff is legit. Still using the hybrid and go back and forth between the 3 wood and the tour issued Flash SZ. If they made improvments the other OEM’s better take notice.

My Gen 2 lasted 6 months, so many fairways missed, I found the head really heavy over time and for my swing i had to go at it.

Great looking products but the driver is still not close to its competitors IMO. Hybrid is probably the best hybrid I have hit!!!

Love my Gen1, dont agree at all that they havent figured out drivers. The gen two just didnt fit my eye, too much going on. Looking forward to hitting this

Hopefully they keep the crown the same. Look and feel/sound of the gen 2 woods was really good.

I'm curious at what price point they release the driver. Iron prices have continued to go up, woods prices have come down. I would think they stay above TM at a minimum, and at a maximum we could see $850 again.

I hate to say this really do. Feel like pxg is gonna move to more weighting styles of other manufactures. Their drivers have been good but i struggled with the spin being to high on their gen1 and gen2 "better player" driver. Felt the weight system used just didnt do its job of reducing spin looks like with this new head and weight design they are addressing the spin issue ive had and quite a few other pxg players. Dont get it twisted PXG makes great great equipment. Do feel like they are coming to see that majority of people are not gonna pay their prices" even if they have the coin to do it" if they cant get the performance from the pxg brand that they can get in other companys which im sure is why their driver prices dropped so much between gen 1 and gen2 .

I dont think Gen1 sold that well at all why you can get one for $115 Heroes. Gen2 was massively better but I think with the screw weights it allowed you to move weighting but with screws takes too long to switch and you can lose the small screws. If theyre going to same weights used in putter would be brilliant and can adjust SW as well.

My bet is that it will be priced similar to the Geb2, $575 range.

$575 is a good deal if you end up getting fit into one of their base shafts since they are all real deal. The upgrade cost isn't bad either.

I think its under $800, but I'd say the range is probably $595-850. The sweet spot feels like their wedge pricing of $650 for the Gen3 driver. It'd be nice if they just released it as "Prototype" instead of Gen3

They have a ton of shafts to choose from. Unless you want an exotic shaft, no other OEM beats their selection and value.

PXG master fitter. They are good, however moving to the Callaway EF sub I have noticed a vast improvement on dispersion

Maybe a fail for you. PXG drivers, at least the 0811x is a monster and very forgiving. Keeps up with anything on the market.
