Hey, y'all. Check out my current WITB for 2020. It's finally getting back to what I'm accustomed to using, Titleist mostly. I had a mixed bag of an i15 Driver, RBZ Stage 2 15*, Nike VRS 18* Hybrid, Titleist 910H 21*, MacGregor Pro M and C irons, Ping Gorge 52/SS and 58/SS (don't remind me of those), and an Odyssey Metal X putter. It was not ideal but it allowed me to play on the RARE occasion. I am now back into the game fully and plan on upgrading my irons this spring. These MacGregor irons are NO slouch, though. They have some really nice feel but I'd like something from Mizzy or Titleist with a shaft that is actually fit for me. These are S300 flex but light. Probably 110-112 range - too light for my liking.

Thanks, guys. I was hoping to find some people who appreciate them! I will continue to keep them around even though I'm going to upgrade to something newer this spring.

I always keep my 9 sets of Macs around--- I will stray from time to time but always come back to my Mac Blades------ There are a lot of us guys over in the Classic Golf and Golfers section of WRX that appreciate those and other blade irons---- I also noticed you have roughed up the cord grip on the Scotty sure sign of a playah!!!

Loved this grip on the 2008 NP 2 I gamed a while back and continued to put it on any Scotty I went to. LOVE the feel of this grip. I feel at home right away once it hits my palms. I actually got it for $3 at Watts, brought it home, and scrubbed it a bit. Looks new!

Great bag. No issues with the gap between the 21 hybrid and the 5 iron?

MP 20 mmc irons are stronger up top so I have my hybrid set to 22.5. The 4 iron is 22* in the set.

Thanks. I have a very similar set up to you. I swap out the 23 Anser with the 816 H1 21 degree. I marginally prefer the 816 so might crank it up as you mentioned.

I actually ended up lofting up and also cutting the shaft down a little as well to knock some of the distance off and get it closer to a club that's 22 degrees. I may actually just get the 4 iron in the MMC - they are easy to hit.

Just added the SIM driver to my bag. Tested it head to head with my 917 D3 and it won by like 15-20 yards - no lie! I also hit the MIzuno ST200G driver today and it impressed me. It had a really nice feel and sound at impact and I had similar numbers to the SIM. I just prefer the profile of the SIM. Reminds me of the 909 D3, VR Pro LTD.

Here’s a bit of an update to my bag. Added the putter and shoes today but haven’t posted any images of the driver. Really starting to gel with it now.

I ditched the 5 wood after seeing that I don’t use it much and the shaft change screwed me. I’m not giving up on it but I may just tweak my hybrid so I can hit 240ish with it and I’m might change to a three Vokey wedge set up - 50, 54, 58. I also bought these.

New irons in the bag. T-MB comes in this week with my shafts.

Ended up with the Macs back in the bag. I'm planning on going X100 with them and I'm waiting on my SIM fairway to come in. Feels good to be back, but I'm not quite sold on the IZ 6x. Most likely go back to the Dialed S 70x or AD DI 6x. First two rounds back in almost a year were +8 (short 9 hole par 62, shot 70) and +10 (80).
