The grip is nice! I use the Pistol Tour on my Del Monte and I also like that grip. This one is like it but more of a slimmer taper. This putter sets up and feels like my Method 001. I put the sight dot on it to emulate the look and the grooves work in a similar fashion. Feels a touch firmer than the surilyn cover Pure Roll insert found on most putters now. I really like the feel of it.

New additions to the bag. I’ve got the S+ Limited 70x in both. Love the shaft and I had great results in my prior gen SIM. 
Also picked up a Tour V5. FINALLY have accurate yardages 😂

They did a fantastic job with t100 this time around, curious how you fancy them compared to the 620. I managed to get some in person comparisons of my 620 CB & t100s- they looked like twins profile wise. Not surprised you went this route.

Noticed you use Xstiff in your metals but stiff in your irons.

 

Does your driver swing speed hover around 110 MPH and do you swing your irons at 80% or so?

I've always done it. I swing my driver about 112 on average and irons at around 92/93. I can play x in my irons but I choose to play stiff because I like the feel it gives me and I have never been able to work the ball as much as I'd like with x in my iron shafts. I am a fairly low spin player in my irons so going stiff also helps me get a little bit more spin for control. 

 

Plus, the shafts I game aren't very boardy in x stiff anyway. Very smooth and I like the same feeling in my irons. I like to have a similar feel throughout my bag.

Shaft update:

 

I am going to the Modus 120x shaft very soon. I just received the shafts and I am just waiting on my ferrules from BB&F. I went with the Delores - Tiffany blue ferrules. I got them because I've always liked the color and we just had our little girl. Crazy how she changes one's life. I'm excited to put the Modus shafts into play. I have had some really good numbers and the feel is really good with these. I've gamed some different shafts in the past but these seemed to work nicely with the T100 I was able to finally hit a demo of. I initially ordered the T100 with the AMT White S300 shaft but after two sessions I can say they aren't for me. The weight of the shafts is different and I like a consistent weight through the set. I may end up going for the Modus 120x in my wedges. I use BOTH wedges on full shots but mainly the 52/F so I could see how these could work well, as I am after a consistent feel in all more irons/wedges.

Update!

 

I finally picked up my irons with the shaft change and my word. I am VERY happy with the change and I can really feel the club head in my swing. The irons themselves feel much softer now too. I did not care for the AMT shafts due to the light weight of them. I also thought they made the T100 feel kind of dead. Oh, and these ferrules!

New lens came in so I got to test it on the bag. I am going to be going out to my course soon to get some outside on the range. I also went back to the Newport. The SB wasn’t working out as much as I place the ball more forward, I would catch the trailing edge sometimes and have a poor strike on the ball. I tried it indoors and just didn’t work.

I hit it well compared to the TSi3 and TSi2 heads. I had the 16.5 TSi2 but it looked closed no matter how I set it up. This wood looks square and I'm a big fan of how it looks. I hit the Orange Raw fairly well but I'll get a good idea of how it performs when I take it on course/range. I still have my AD DI 7x if I want to put a Ping tip on it and play it in my G425.

Made the switch to a TSi3 15* because the Ping wasn’t working out. Tried another shaft but it didn’t translate well onto my course. Ended up trading it out and haven’t looked back since. The TSi3 has a very nice feel at impact - almost a solid feel at impact. It’s different but in a good way. Pierced through the wind a bit easier than the TS2 I previously had. Putter just came in as well. Now I just wait on my Miura combo set. I’m beyond excited.

So the story on how that went was short haha. It’s very windy where I play and in the simulator the Ping was great. Once it was out on the course, I was losing some yardage. The TSi3 with the AD DI has a nice, strong flight. The TS2 I had before was similar but it got up a touch higher and stayed there. The TSi3 is exactly what I’ve been looking for off the tee and into par 5s. I am going to either put a TSi3 5 wood in the bag or get a TSi2 7 wood and take a little loft off.

I’ve been on the hunt to find a putter that performs and that I like the look of for more than 18 holes 😂

 

The Odyssey Tri Hot 5k #2 seems to have kept itself in my bag for now. I’ve been through two Newport putters, one Squareback, one Del Monte, one Spider X, a Phantom 5.5, and now this Tri Hot. The Phantom lasted about two days because my distance control was that poor. 
 

Miura wedges are on their way and irons should be right behind them! Fingers crossed I get them when the Open starts.

Well, I have finally gone and done it. Almost. My irons are arriving next week and I couldn’t be more excited for them to get here to complete the bag. I’m still on the fence about selling my T100 irons so we will see. 
 

These wedges are so clean looking in the bag but more importantly at address. I can’t wait to get out with them and give them a run. 
 

EDIT - I was so excited I forgot to include my Jones Trouper R bag I just got in yesterday. Super clean bag with tons of storage and organization. Love it.

I also stuck my Newport back in the bag. Speed is fine with this putter and I’m still puzzled as to why it wasn’t with the Phantom 5.5. I really wanted to like that putter.
