Happy birthday to me. No really today was my birthday.

Following up on this. I went through a fitting today for a new driver. Had similar results as @halfsumo. Current driver is a TS3 w/ stock hzrdus smoke stiff. SS is 99-103, low 140’s ballspeed 1.42

I was told this is not the hulk shaft, just a smoke black with a bit stiffer handle

The no up charge fairway shafts will be the same as the driver shafts. Also, it is the new Rogue Silver 110 that will be offered with no up charge for 2020.

Thanks for the insight. I normally go low loft and set it a little higher to close the face a touch. Should be a fun time dialing it in.

Just Like the TM Made for Tensei there is NO branding/logo on the tip end of the shaft.

It will be easy to tell, if it says VeloCore it's the Real Ventus. If it doesn't then it's whatever this shaft is.

This brings up the age old dilemma for me.

Higher spinning model at 9* or lower spinning 10.5 model cranked down to 9.5*?

Beautiful looking club I’m still rocking the M2. TaylorMade just knows how to make great drivers. I’m sometimes put off by their marketing but I have had the Burner, SLDR & now M2 in the bag all have been very good although the SLDR was kind of like a beautiful but crazy girlfriend.

So are the people who want this wanting it because it will be longer, or because it will be straighter or just because it will be newer...…. don't mean this as a wise crack, I switch equipment with the best of them.....just always curious in these early release threads what people are expecting.

I'm expecting it to look better than my current driver (which will not be difficult) and hopefully sound and feel better as well (also, not difficult). Outperforming my current driver will be a tough task.

Now why do some years they offer 8* lofts , others they do not . If this SIM lower spinning than the M5 , why offer the lower loft? 440 looks to be dead

will be interested in trying the 8*

To be honest, I much preferred the TS4 over the M5T. For some reason me and the M5T could never get along. I was all over the map with it. The TS4 has been long and super accurate for me. I have a feeling this SIM is going to be really good..
