Just ordered the SIM 8.0 with HZRDUS Green 70 6.5. I hit the 8.0 and 9.0, the 8.0 yielded the best numbers for my swing.

Based on what he said in his press conference, don't be surprised if today is just Tiger trying to get some reps with SIM after having a few adjustments made this week. He's not normally someone who makes game time decisions on equipment and it didn't sound like he had dialed in SIM quite yet. It wouldn't surprise me at all if we see M5 tomorrow for one final event.

One thing is certain: whatever he tees off with on Thursday is what he'll finish the week with. Tiger isn't a guy who changes mid-tournament.

The sim is really good. I am really enjoying hitting one. Before you buy one though, hit it. It is pretty low launch and spin. I moved up to a more mid launch shaft to make it work.

Have a SIM 9 on the way that I’ll play one click higher. Coming from playing a 10.5 SLDR 430 down a click and an M3 9.5 at standard.

I have been playing the ventus blue 7x. I have the hazrdus green 6.5, but I have had better luck personally with the Diamana limited shaft in 60x.

i am probably going to order a ventus blue again though.

So close to pulling the trigger on this thing but still on the fence between ordering a 9* or a 10.5* SIM. Currently playing a 9* M5 (set to neutral) but from what I've read in this thread it might be a good idea to consider the 10.5* in the SIM. Decisions, decisions....

I would say to find some place to hit them first. if you were hitting the M5 just fine at 9* you are probably fine, if you just could not wait that is.

Go hit it. You can't expect what others are seeing to correlate to you. I'm in a 10.5 M5 turned down to 9.75. I went into a 9 SIM because I was getting optimal numbers and better ballspeed than the 10.5 SIM turned down.

I went standard for the Mavrik just based on wanting to try a profile with a touch more spin. I'll play it at 8 degrees and SIM between 9-9.75. I'm usually center strike but middle to higher end of the face.

Right on. If you get out on the toe side of center much then mavrik could be no bueno. I wasn't able to test regular mavrik but sz didn't like toe side strikes at all.

10.5* max turned to 9.75 gave me 3.5mph more ballspeed then the sim at the same loft

2100-2300 spin with both

11 launch with the max compared to 10 with the sim

10more yards of carry with the max

175mph ballspeed 119-120 mph club speed
