Mizuno ST200 drivers, fairway woods (in-hand pics)

I've never gamed a Mizuno driver and this one definitely looks promising , might take a spin out

to pga superstore and check it out , I bought the Epic sub zero last year and had a tough time with it initially

starting to hit it very well now , I'd like to know how forgiving this club is compared to the Epic , does Mizuno carry

the Ventus shaft as an up charge .

It has an MOI over 4000 so I am guessing very favorable to Epic SZ. Yes they have Ventus as an upcharge.

Sorry I didn’t specify. It has a horizontal MOI over 4000 which is good. Ping is a little over 5k and the gold standard. 4000 is pretty dang good though.

Until I really read your post and looked at options I didn't know we had no G option ???? They are not at my club or stores lefty yet bu I just assumed we'd have both options....seriously bummed. I have the 180 as my backup and love it, just a tick behind the rogue SZ tour in ballspeed but I couldn't let go of it. The 200 if better could displace the SZ but really wanted a G option...

Hit the new st200 and the 190 today and both had a similar feel and sound , believe it or not the 200 g head was stolen already from

the fitting cart at the pga superstore in Paramus NJ lol , so I just hit the regular st200 felt better than my Callaway epic sz for sure

I'm going to get fit at a local club champion and see which driver stacks up the best for me but I do like the look of the new Mizuno drivers

they do look large would of been nice if they had of come out with maybe a 450 or 440 head .

Hey guys,

Just received my ST200G today- Anyone know where I can find what changing the track weights does?? Can’t find it on their website (which is terrible to navigate). Looking for their specific manual if they actually have one.

Not sure if you found it but here is the guide for the 190G which works the same. Major difference being weights all the way back in the 200G increases MOI and adds 400-500 rpm of spin from the weights forward position. Mizuno ST190G - Guide to weight settings - Mizuno Golf Europe

Did you hit with same shafts? Did you notice much difference in ball speed, launch or spin vs ST190? Not finding much head to head comparisons yet between 190/200 .

No hit with different shafts so hard to say which one was the higher spinning , the st 190 had the atmos shaft in it, I hit that in golf galaxy

and the st 200 had the blue Diamana in it and I hit that at the PGA superstore , sorry I can't be of more help , liked both but more than likely will go with the st 200 or 200g

just because it has more tech in it than the 190 , I'm getting fit at club champion on the 14 of march so we'll see how it goes . it was hard for me to see the spin numbers as the launch monitors where moving at speed, I could barely make out total distance and then the screens would move to next shot .

I own both the 190 and 200 (both non G). Hit both on skytrak with same shaft (Aldila rogue white). Both at 9.5* in upright setting. I would say the 200 spins a fraction more, maybe 200 rpms more. Not a bad thing since the 190 was a low spin beast. For me, the 200 is more accurate left to right but ball speed seems to be similar. Probably more consistent across the face too. 200 launches about 1* higher too with a higher peak height leading to a couple extra yards of carry. Probably not enough to upgrade if you are consistent with the 190 but for me it’s a good purchase as it helped the dispersion. If you hit it on a rope then stick with the 190. If you usually experience the entire course and all the trees it may have to offer, worth the upgrade.

I'm interested in the ST200X it sounds like it is designed a lot like the TS1 from Titleist, which I have.

I did not love the sound of the 200g today ...

also all my drives were 1500-1750 spin. Even with the weights 90% back and the loft up

speed 107-109

my best drives were with the Ping gamer in my sig ... 111.3 speed with 2100 spin and 14 launch

top swing speed and overall distance with mavrik 60s Aldila white ... 112 to 113
