New Mizuno M-Craft putters

I like these putters. On the other hand, my question is that whether we really need another putter brand? Unless these things are severely under priced, I just don't see any large purchasing volume. Anyway, it looks good.

Yeah, they're basically filling the same hole as the Bettinardi BB-line: clean, no frills milled putters without fancy tech for $300. I doubt there's a big demand for these, but I am happy to see them come to market. If they were maybe $50-$100 cheaper, they'd REALLY have my attention, but $300 seems reasonable for what they're offering.

I am a huge fan of them including the weight kit with the putter. This drives me nuts nowadays - don't advertise your putter as having adjustable weights if you need to special order the weight kit for an additional $50-$100.

If they're properly weighted, perhaps. The bumpers aren't just for aesthetics.

Take a look at cavity back irons and see how often the perimeter weighting is visibly the exact same on the heel/toe sides.

WOW, love Mizuno's new line of putters. It has been a long time! The new M-Craft II (modelled after the Ping Anser) is a thing of beauty.

I really dig the new updated blue. I bought a t20 wedge in the blue finish because, why not? They don't last that long. Years past I haven't cared for the blue look but I think they did a much better job. I really dig the putter in the blue finish.

Exactly my thoughts. Doesn't look very smooth or pleasing to my eye. Just seems a little unfinished. Needs some softening for sure. The sole design looks okay to me though.

I'm with you there. Still interesting in doing a little side by side comparison but you have to think value wise the Mizuno is going to deliver. I really like the headcover/grip.

I'm not a big fan of Scotty, but at least for the Anser shape the 2020 Scotty looks more refined/softer at address vs. the Mizuno. The Mizuno looks very boxy, and raw in its shape. So if I had to choose between the 2, I'd go with the Newport. But if boxy is your preference then I could see the Mizuno being appealing.

Well I guess but the blades are going to be the highest MOI blades produced by just about anyone ever. Smallest in along time from Scotty as well.

Keeping my older putters and going to try this mizuno over buying a new scotty this year. newest scotty i have is a golo from probably 2015 or 2016?
