Nick those FW's look amazing.  Love seeing everyone's clubs start to show up. Curious what you guys thought of the of the TP5 and X balls. I like the Pix concept, just haven't put them to the test yet.

Since I am in SE Arizona, I plan on taking video and doing side by side comparison testing once my clubs arrive. The part that I am most excited to see is how much better my misses will be. Everything should be close with a solid strike, but I want to see what my dispersion is on misses. I lose a good amount of distance on toe misses, so with twistface and the extra forgiveness, if I can hit the fairway still plus still get some distance, I will be very happy.

I got to play the yellow TP5X during the trip and still have one new on in my bag. I like the yellow. I like the yellow on the ProV1 better with the shimmer, but the yellow TP5 and TP5x is gonna be awesome for those who like yellow. It is bright.

I was shocked because after the round, the TM guys asked for my input. Nobody ever asks for my input. Beside the color difference between the ProV1 and the yellow TM chose, the only complaint I had was when the ball is scuffed by a short iron or wedge, the white urethane shows. I told the TM guys that I like how a Prov1 will sheer/scuff and show white, but when I clean the ball with a wet towel, the white will go away.

I like the look of the Pix. The me the TP5X was the better ball for me and what i did all my fittings with. I really like the ball and would have no issues playing it i just have a large backstock of Titleists so ill be sticking with those this year.

Hmm. I don't like that. That means the pigment is on the surface and not the entire cover. Srixon and Titleist you can cut an up and white does not show. I think even the Callaway ball does not turn white.

When talking with Casey and Chandler about my issue, they both sounded like it was an easy fix and something that would be able to be resolved really quick. I agree that the other balls don't due that. I love the ball and it made me put the ProV1 away and start playing the TP5. The extra spin is what I like, even though I am a high spin player. I like the softer feel of the TP5 better. It will be great to see how the yellow performs when it hits the shelves in a few weeks.

For sure. I have been a yellow ball guy since Srixon brought them out years ago. I will for sure try these, just not the best sign at the moment.

I gather that stockpile isn't depleting much right now. That TP5X was awesome when I saw the numbers. The feel from warming up was surprising as I was hitting ProV1s up to the fitting. The numbers and playing the ball at Aviara changed my mind quickly. I have been playing the American flag Pix they gave us. I can't buy the TP5 on at my home course yet, so I am waiting till they get some in the shop.

Yeah I'm gonna be working through my stock of original Kirklands, but after those are gone I'll be moving to the TP5x Pix

Looks like I’m not waiting too long to try out the new sticks after all. Heading a couple hours south tomorrow to play a round. Going to be a balmy 45 degrees.

Nice. I thought I would get frostbite yesterday too. It was 45* in Phoenix yesterday morning when I got to the course. Hahahahahaha.

Glad you got out to smack it around. Always fun hitting g irons into frozen greens.

New stuff is legit. Shot 77 with it being sub 40 degrees for most of the round and the first 5 holes with trampoline frozen greens.

I was surprised on this President's Day with a knock at my door this morning. FedEx dropped off a Taylormade box.

Inside was the SIM driver in 10.5* with a HZRDOUS Smoke Yellow 70x, SIM Titanium 15* with Fuji Pro 2.0 Tour Spec 80x, and a P790 3i with a PX 6.5.

Of course I had to get dressed and go to the range on a beautiful 70* day.

The P790 3i is so easy to get in the air and is very forgiving on misses. I am looking forward to using this off the tee as well. At The Kingdom I was getting 235y carry off a tee.

I hit the SIM Titanium 15* next to my M1 T3 14* the difference in launch angle was about 25 feet higher with the SIM, but it wasn't a balloon and the ball just flew so nice into a 3-5mph wind. It was workable in both directions.

Lastly was the SIM 10.5* compared to my 9.5* 915D3 with Rogue Silver 70x. The SIM flew much higher and further. I will say that I was not fit for the 915D3, so picking up performance was expected. I just didn't expect for the SIM to have such tighter dispersion on off-center hits. My toe miss with the 915D3 was very spinny and would go right. The SIM would start right and draw back towards my aiming line. The heel miss was the opposite but still make it close to my target. It was enlightening. TwistFace works and the ball still had distance on it. When I hit it solid, the ball launched higher and carried well past a solid hit with my 915D3. The Trackman showed an increase of 7mph in balls speed and close to 2mph in club head speed all the while reducing spin by over 300rpm.

I will be playing this week and compare side by side with the TP5 golfball.

I really want to know what you think of the 5 wood. I love the three but I think tweaking a 5 stronger in loft may be the ticket.

The 5 wood is incredible its so easy to hit and its long just like the 3 wood. Its easily the longest set of woods ive ever played.

I actually disagree with Jim on this one. I think both the 3 and 5 woods of the Sim TI look pretty closed at address. Performed REALLY well...but definitely closed to my eye

I tested the SIM in January and it wasn't for me, but am more interested in the fairways for sure.
