If anyone gets lucky enough to be paired with Duane, make sure to bend his ear on the putters. He has a ton of knowledge and is an all around great guy.

I’m going to be so damn happy with whoever I get for a fitting haha. I’ve got a pretty darn good set up with my Callaway right now so I’m very curious to see what they can produce!

Current 3 wood is a 2016 M2 DF 3 wood. They’re going to have to pry that from my hands haha.

I’ve never had a real fitting either which is why I’m so excited for this! Almost everything I have is something I heard or or saw on this site and decided to try.

 

I feel like I’ve put together a really good top of the bag but I 100% think there’s room for improvement. Can’t wait.

 

we’re also going to get to hit the new SIM irons and get a 1:1 putter fitting.

You sound a lot like me. I have never been fitted in my life, but last July I went to TXG and got fitted by Ian. Prior, I "fit myself", basically a cob job of stuff on here...M3 440 with an AD IZ...He got me into a G410 with a Diamana DF and my carry went up, dispersion tightened a TON and showed me that the ball was knuckling out of the sky when I thought I was spinning it TOO much.

I am excited for you to go through this, I bet you learn some stuff you never knew about your own swing/game, youre going to remember it forever!

I went on same trip but to Carlsbad! Still my greatest golf experience ever! I still have my R11 and throw it in the bag every once in a while. Still holds it's own against the newer stuff.

Yeah. I was but a wee lad (forum age...) when I was part of the Doral/TM/RBZ trip. Love living vicariously through all these trip threads. Remembering the good time had by all and the VIP experience. :)
