Is your bag set for 2020 or are you still tinkering?

I'm completely set with my mixed bag of tricks after getting fit with the 919F irons.

Nope, not set yet. If you check my recent posts you can see I’m toying around with a few ideas. All in the pursuit of max enjoyment and trying to consistently break 90 on my home course by the end of 2020.

I would say that i'm "set" in the fact that there won't be any purchases for 2020. HOWEVA, I still rotate clubs in and out (3W, 4W, hybrids, etc.) at times.

Also put together a "90's bag" with some 975 & Big Bertha Woods and MacGregor Tourney PCB Tours that will probably see some time for casual rounds.

Those irons are beauties, enjoy! I have strong lofted M4 irons 7-S with hybrids and fairways and of course a driver. Just 12 clubs including the putter.

I'll put it this way: I've never felt this ready in January before.

I feel like I'm ready to go. My main set is what's in my signature, but I have a couple of wedges and two fairway woods in reserve that I will occasionally swap in.

Looking too upgrade my driver this season. I still have a Cobra Bio cell.

I just tried the Ping G410 and Taylor Made M6. I have the 410 3-wood and hybrid, which I love, but I did not care for the sound or feel of the driver.

The M6 felt great, but there are a few other drivers I want to test, like the M5, Mini One & others. Thinking about another fitting.

I have a driver/shaft waiting in the wings and a new putter as well for when those fail me, everything else isn't going anywhere for quite a while.

I thought it was but now I'm not sure. I'm pretty happy with my driver but now hearing SIM and pozzibly Mavrik are improvements, I miiiight be swayed. I also have a love hate relationship with my m1 hybrid. It either hits bombs or it's terrible, no middle ground. So overall, I might end up with a new driver head and possibly a totally new 3h. The 4i is also on alert, too... I feel it's too early to really say but from the limited course use, it launches a little too low for my likes. I may adjust the loft a bit or go back to a P790.

Not quite. I have a fitting for the new SIM driver on Sunday. I currently play the M5 but the reviews on the new driver are good so I'm going to test it out. The fitter said they have some new shafts too so I'm curious what they have.

Depending on my funding, it's either 100% set or 100% going to change... or somewhere between.

I have long term plans to replace everything in my bag... I just need the cash and time to actually do it. Way too much time spent buying random shit on eBay... this year I'm focused on actually getting exactly what I need. My irons are from the 90s! and have regular shafts.

My basic plan is to replace based on need this season... I really need a different 3 wood to better play my home course (something I can tee off with and hit straight)... So I'll probably start with that... then probably replace my hybrid... then wedges, then irons, then driver... and change putters at some point.

As much as I enjoy what I have now, I will likely pick up a different driver and possibly a 4 wd. Will rotate between i20s and MP33s depending on swing and putter (usually start with Tank and then into Abbie Forged when stroke is good). Also have a pile of fairway shafts that I haven't gotten around to trying out, so who knows. Nothing brand new as prices have been obscene for a while now and so much good stuff out there at discounted prices.

The bag has been unchanged a few years now and will stay that way for the time being. Should do something about the top end of the bag but don't think new clubs are going to help that much and couldn't be bothered with the whole fitting process. Better spend that $$ on practising and playing. Maybe a new bag if I bump into a suitable one on a big discount.

I play alot of different types of courses here in Florida and I find I always wish I had a different club at least once a round. I have a set 18 club rotation, does that count??

I find myself mixing and matching in a 4 iron, 4 hybrid, 5 wood and 2 iron (bent to 20*). Driver, 3 wood, 5-PW, 52 (bent to 50), 54 (bent to 55), 60 and putter are set though.

Ok, screw that. Picked up a set of C300 Forged, different grind SM7 LW and added a 5wd... Still at least 3 months until I play again... So I'm sure I'll now have to change this up as I've already started...
