I don't think it would shock anyone. For whatever reason, after the move to Callaway his play dropped off. How much that has to do w/equipment, general loss of form, is open to speculation.

He's no longer on the Callaway website as a "team" member. So I'm assuming his link with Callaway is over.

That's interesting because it could be an indication he has a full bag sponsorship from PING on offer. Maybe trying to decide on that route or just remain a bag for hire.

Sergio doesn’t strike me as a Ping kind of guy, no disrespect intended. Guess he could play anything, but I always think of him as a Titleist blade player.

Considering his lack of success in the two years he's been under contract, and then his blow ups last year, I'm guessing the decision was made long ago that they weren't going to re-sign him once his contract ran its course.

I'd guess it's a little too early on if he keeps all those clubs in his bag, and with so many players opting out of equipment contracts (and playing just what they like), it'll be interesting to see if he ends up with some sort of mixed bag.
