I just don't get this at all. Give me traditional loft all day.

Update:

Titleist iron fitting done, was fit into the standard T100 in 5-9 iron and a Vokey PW.

Stunned at how fast these irons are. Despite them being one degree weaker than my T-MB's, they were hitting the same distances and was no need to go with the T100-S bent weak.

Actually got to hit these today, I was deciding on my new set of irons and chucked these in the mix just for something different (blade user), they looked just as good as a blade from address. Feel wise solid, very impressive in fact, and flight wise high and long. I can see these appealing to a lot of folks, they really impressed me with a solid feel, and titleist really do know how to make a great looking iron at address.

How do these compare in terms of feel, forgiveness and playability to the JPX 919F. Considering using a titleist thursday to make the switch

... The real irony is the T100-S have traditional lofts, just not traditional designations. I am playing the P2 thru 4 iron so 48* P2, 44* Pw, 40* 9i, 36* 8i, 32* 7i, 28* 6i, 25* 5i and 22* 4 iron. So these are actually more traditional than most modern irons. But you know, haters gonna hate. As been stated ad nauseam, as long as your gaps are covered, what is written on the sole is irrelevant.

I am less worried about the # on the loft but how far I hit it. I space my clubs out based on distance not the lofts. I look forward for your follow-up review.

I hit them and will say that these are the first out of every single generation of AP2 irons that don’t spin off the carts for my swing. In the past, I literally tried every low spin iron shaft available and could never get the spin down to a playable level. These have fixed that! Thank you Titleist!!!

Most pros I imagine are more concerned about gaps, spin and launch. However they get that is irrelevant of the number on the bottom. I'm guessing.

I read somewhere a pro hits all his iron on trackman and bends them to get what he wants. He mentioned for some reason his 8 iron, I think it was 8, does not go a distance that matches the rest of his set. So he carries two of the same iron. Can't remember if it's the 8 or not. It was really interesting and I probably botched the entire story..

Just got my set today and only got a chance to hit the 8 iron, but it was pretty sweet feeling. The trajectory for me on these new T series is a very nice decent angle that makes me feel I can drop the ball into a tight pin. Launch is plenty high, at least even with my P790. Pure strikes are awesome, less than pure still get some help but you feel it. Not sure I am adding anything new, but I am sensing these are truly a redesign of the center of gravity. They behave like the T100 did when I hit them but just go further. Really wish these came out originally and I could have these to pick from instead of T200 or P790. These are super clean looking and just glide through the turf.

Can anyone provide some follow up thoughts on the T100-s after using them for a while?  I really like the gapping on these as they remind me of basically playing an old school 2-p set (it’s just in these the 3 is the 2, 4 is the 3, etc).

I am still playing and loving mine. Turf interaction is best I’ve ever played. Feel really good and forgiving. I did order a U500 4 iron tho.

Love it. I liked the T100 but wish they had a little less offset and wish they dug a little less. Weakening these a degree or two might accomplish both.

The offset is so small on the Titleist T100 and T100s. How little do you play? In what irons?

I hate offset too and find my T100 irons are the least offset irons I've found that aren't pure blades. They're much less than my previous 714CB's..

I recently canceled an order of jpx 921 forged.  Im coming from i20s, and I bought the 4 and 7 to test them out.  For me they didn't work out.

I'm now looking at the T100 and T100s.  See they're very popular, and I'm already a fan of px lzs so would work perfectly.

Any further feedback on t100s?
