They keep saying that every year, but the changes they've made have reduced the disparity quite a bit I believe. Still probably holds for the most part, but I don't think it's an automatic deal breaker like it used to be

When he first came back, he talked a lot about how grateful he was to be playing golf, that at one point he didn't think he would ever swing a club again let alone play golf at the highest level. I was never a big fan of his, but I like this "new" TW's. Much more personable and relaxed.

Is there a specific reason why they use the North Course the first two days of the tournament? It just seems to be its an inherent disadvantage to draw the South Course on your first day....even if you know you will get the North Course the next day, shooting even par or even a couple over on the South has to be mentally challenging knowing that guys on the North are cutting it up in much easier conditions.

Just seems odd that they split the field like they do for the first two days.

Don't know the answer for sure, but schedule flexibility could be one. It is easier to schedule a full field on two courses before the cut. In the event of inclement weather (it actually happens now and then in San Diego) they can still squeeze in the tournament with delays. On Thursday and Friday they tee off at 9:00am which could be moved to 6:30 if needed.

I saw it, first put wasnt very good and had like 3 feet left. He walked up to it and didn't really look at it much and proceeded to ram it by 6-7 feet, missed that too.
