Old Reliable - What is the oldest club in your bag?

What is the oldest club in your bag that you have for every round, and you know its worn/beat up, but refuse to get rid of it.

Mine has to be the putter: Odyssey White Hot XG #9

It's chipped and dinged up, but it just feels so comfortable over a putt with it.

It is also a putter for me - second generation Ram Zebra that I have had since my teenage years (I am in my 40s now).

I think Putter may be the #1 answer to this question, technology does change over time, but not as much as the other sticks in the bag.

I'm gonna go with a Ping i20 hybrid that just hasn't found a way to get kicked out of the bag despite my best efforts.

Original Two ball putter and TM stage 2 hybrids 2,3,4. Haven’t found anything to knock them out yet.

I have an old Lynx 5 wood I rotate in and out of the bag. Bought it used for $17 probably 10 years ago

Taylormade R9 4w. It's been in my bag the longest, since around 2011, maybe even 2010, though I bought it used.

I used to be able to nut it off the fairway, but recently my swing's gone to pot and I've really struggled with my fairway woods. I have considered replacing it for something newer and shiner, but my swing is coming back, and when it does, I might well end up sticking with it.

I do think the newer stuff offers more assistance, but I just like the look of this club at setup, and the shaft is great for me.

Mine would be my 2007 K15 Driver - I have 5 of them - all with different shafts and all 5 are 48" long

also have a a K15 3 wood in the bag.

Even tho the driver is old -- some of the rest of my bag is newer -- even have the new Mizuno MP-20 MB in the bag.

Ping UGLE Putter - just perfect design for me, modern weighting and center shaft - kind of reminded me of bulls eye which I always loved for short putts, but then had the modern weighting and back for longer putts - have looked at others through the years, but just havent seen anything that I say "I have to have that"

For non-putters - I have a 909 titleist hybrid that I absolutely love - its my go to for so many varied lie shots - I hit it about 185 as my distance, but can hit a variety of shots and trajectories with it.

I think it’s my irons at this point. I’ve tried nearly every shaft under the sun and finally settled on something. Now that I know it’s nearly impossible to find something better they are comfortably in the bag.

I’ve had a 2-ball fang tank in the bag basically since they released it, just can’t get rid of it no matter how hard I try.

I'm 37 and I've played a homemade 5 wood crafted from Golfsmith components since I swung a club in 1992. It will never leave my bag and I can hit it off the deck better than most clubs. It's a persimmon head with a graphite shaft, it says "747 Jumbo" on the metal plate. Quite a few sentimental feelings for that thing.

Now that I finally replaced my old A7 hybrid, sad to say my G400 driver is the oldest club in my bag. I have a problem lol.

Cobra f7 3 wood. The shaft is newer than my putter (2nd oldest) but the head stays. I tried to replace it but I guess than when you find a 3 wood that works you keep it.

From 2007 to 2010 I played an old Ping Pal putter from circa 1973. I got it when the Chesterfield Golf Galaxy opened years ago. The teenage clerk sold me "that old club" for $40, and even included a new Ping grip to sweeten the deal.

(I sent a photo of the head to Ping. They said it was an original from the era, but they couldn't pinpoint the year because of the primitive product number.)

Right now I carry an XRail 7W from 2012 - not that old, unless you're a disciple of Mike Stachura at Golf Digest.

It's either my Adams Super 9031 23* hybrid with a s300 shaft in it or my Adams XTD 19* Super Hybrid (I've changed the shaft a few times). I can't remember which one I got first, but they've both been in the bag since 2012 or so? I'm tempted to buy a couple of heads off of ebay to have just in case the face caves on either of them.

Heads are decent to get them up in the air but man those shafts are noodles with the amount of torque I put on them.

Also have an old two ball putter, but that is not the oldest. A Ping Eye 2 BeCu 2 iron with a Project X psi shaft & the entire inside bottom of the 2 iron cavity covered in lead tape.

I’m still using my Taylormade rescue dual from 2005. It’s just dawned on me that thing is 15 years old but I can’t hit another hybrid as consistently. I’m still wondering whether to put my v-steel back in!
