K, I read all that. Very interesting. Thanks for sharing. 
 

I guess I’m back to just testing out different combos for ultimate straight driving! And then of course working on swing changes that inevitably change what the perfect combo is. And then of course having different swings going different days that would each need a different combo...? What a game!

 

I guess bottom line is pick something you like looking down at and that feels good to swing and that gives you confidence. I’m feeling pretty great with 10.5* G400 Max. Will I feel even better with 10.5* G425 Max? Who knows? I’m looking forward to finding out.

My bad. I guess I thought the point of threads like these was to get excited about new releases and speculate about how they might improve or change from previous releases, which, in my book, would include things like improvement in forgiveness, which this particularly company is known for. Sorry if that briefly led to a few posts for how MOI works. Not all of us know that inside and out. I guess I broke the rules! Back to the all important pics of the sole!

I'm pretty sure they can both exist at the same time without compromising your enjoyment there, Jon. I'd rather these "hype" threads actually contain information so we can understand what manufacturers are doing and why. Understanding the tech is pro-consumer.

all my point is stating is that OEM’s will put their own “spin” on MOI or effective MOI, and people on here like myself end up confused until we just go hit it and see what works best.

Incredible lineup. The g425 irons definitely look nice. Hosel looks thinner. Don't love the ferrules, but can overlook that. 

 

Question is what will people be paying on eBay to get these before January?

Those ferrules are super busy. Amazing how Ping has transitioned from no ferrules to this in only a handful of years.
