@soflaI got both my shipping notifications via FedEx, they will be here by the 5th.
 

Ordered the irons day of the pre-sale with stock specs, nippon shafts and midsize grips.

 

Ordered the 3 wood about a week after the initial presale stock alta CB slate shaft with a midsize grip and that’s scheduled to be delivered by Feb 5th as well.

the only thing custom was digital lofting requesting the lowest lofted head possible.

All of the online stores still show stock clubs ship out 2/4.  Will be curious to see what they say tomorrow.  Ordered mine on 1/16 all stock, shipping status still hasn't changed.  I'm going in person tomorrow, if they have them in stock, I'm m going to cancel my online order.

I was at PGA Superstore on Sunday having a look at the 425 3 wood and SIm2 3 wood, I told him I was only wanting the head only so couldn't care less about the shaft. He said just come in on release day and buy then rather than order.

 

I am leaning towards the SIm2 so will wait till March.

I'd call your credit card company and tell them to cancel payment. Unless a shipping notification can be provided (especially it being a stock product).  Otherwise it can sit in their warehouse for months before they ship it out.

I ordered a G425 driver (upgraded shaft and custom length) and irons (stock shafts) on 01.15.21.  They were received by my retailer on 02.02.21 but can't be released to me until 02.04.21.

Nah, I'm pretty sure if you go into most any golf superstore on release day and buy a new release club, they are going to do their best to make sure you get the shaft.  😆

Got a fitting set with Club Champion this Saturday. So stoked. I've been playing G400 Max 9* with a GD AD GP 7X, which is super forgiving and straight and I thought it was a life-long soulmate (suppose it still could be). It does seem to climb a little, though, and not flatten out as much as I'd like.

 

Then last weekend I tried out a buddy's G410 Plus 9* with the stock Tour X 65g on the range and DAM*! That thing felt SOLID and HOT!  I was very impressed with the stability and feel of the Tour X 65g shaft, and I have tested a lot of shafts. It also seemed to flatten just a little better than my current set up.

 

So I guess the point is if the G410 Plus feels that much better than my G400 Max, and the G425 Max feels even that much more solid and stable and hot and lower spinning than the G410 Plus, I can't even imagine what that is going to feel like and perform like. I think only question will be between Max and LST. Of course, I'll have to try out Sim, Epic, and TSi as well, just to see what's going on (and maybe Cobra and Mizuno while I'm at it... dang, I'm going to get tired!)...

@bobbyclampett!!Keep us posted! The Epic Max/LS is a big consideration for me....but the 425 Max is calling me! I also hit a friend's 410 Plus and loved it...can only imagine how nice the 425 will be.

Yep! I have a fitting tomorrow, and I can not wait. Still using an RBZ tour from 2010-11. Excited to see what all the new tech is like, especially with the shafts!

Just went by Dick's Sporting goods.  The guy checked in the back, they will have all the G425 lineup out on the floor by noon tomorrow.

I will just take the shaft but I plan to look at all the heads they have to find the one I like at address.

 

I am even tempted to take in scales to weigh the heads to match my M5 as I know it has a little hot melt in it.

you can purchase weights to adjust head and swing weight.

If I go SIm2 then that weight is huge! easier to find a head at the right weight.

When I bought my G400 Max I immediately sold the Kuro Kage shaft that came with it to one of the Moderators here at Golf WRX for about $ 80 bucks so get one of the Premium stock shafts and recoup some cash.

Just got tracking number email from Dick's.  Expected to arrive by end of day Saturday!!!
