thats very interesting, thanks. victor’s comments suggest these are somewhere in between iblade and blueprint in size/look. 

 

that he needed sthg more forgiving in long irons than i59, but going to i210s in long irons was to big of a transition from i59 short irons, so he went with iblades kinda focuses in what these are….less forgiving than iblade and a lot different than i210.

 

i was kinda hoping for sthg more forgiving than iblade but these sound like they might going back in a s55 direction.

Interesting as that's another pro passing the long irons. I'm starting to think that we're all going to be finding the 7-iron split soon. Long irons one way, shorts another. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Concerns me that pros seem to be splitting their bags with other than i59 long irons.  Must not be forgiving or getting the launch window they are looking for.

 

Or they can’t afford the whole set at one time 😀

Good morning!  I stopped by GG yesterday and their release schedule shows these to be coming out in August.  Followed by the new 790, some new Cleveland product, and then a Cobra Air product in September.  Have a great day!

August is 2.5 weeks away and not a word on Ping’s site about these.  It’s doubtful they’re going by that schedule...but my wallet is ready just in case 😅

I was told the same. Next month for i59 and the updated version of the i500 has been pushed out.

It's not unusual for a manufacturer to synchronize their website and a store launch along with review embargos for a set date and PING seem to be quite happy with folks mentioning these on social-media.

Been gaming the blueprints 4-W for a while now. Really want to see these in person. If they're a little more forgiving that the blueprints, probably going to switch to 3i iBlade and 5-W in these i59s.

Pernilla's instagram pic and caption makes me think they might be too close to Blueprints for my tastes.  Was hoping for something more foregiving.

Yeah those iBlades are surprisingly forgiving. They're just a little too spinny for me, but thinking about trying to match them up with a lower spinning shaft.

Maybe...but probably will wait.  I played i210s and it came down to them and srixons after testing a bunch.  Srixons won out.  But I have had 2 sets of i210 so that tells you how close they were.  Plus, i210 on Steelfiber with white iomic 2.3 may have been the best looking set I have ever had.

Sounds like you can afford to experiment, I played sf's for 8 years. Give the MCI 120's a spin, just an amazing all around iron shaft.

Hmm, will check out that shaft.  Didn't even see your bag.  Im on ping woods and srixon irons as well.  It's a great combo for me.  I stuck with the older stuff -- 410 plus, 400 stretch 3, do have the 425 5 wood on Orange pro and love it.  Ping hybs with AD DI 85 are rocking for me as well.

Keen to try as an iBlade user and will hold judgement till then. I just don't see the point of the forged head though. If the rumours are true on the costs they may as well of cast it and made it that bit more affordable. Feel is hardly going to be improved dramatically because the body is forged.
