So the price GoGoErkey got from a Rep is wrong?   I guess we'll all be waiting to see.  These along with the Titleist and TM releases should provide for an exciting late summer.  Mizuno is really missing the boat.

New product details are posted on Ping - Japan website along with the glide Pro wedges…obviously Yen to USD conversion, and the Japanese market has a much higher price.

So people's reps/contacts have confirmed Sept for U.S. as well? Or is it just Japan and/or every country but the U.S. like the G425 release?  These are looking pretty nice.

Was told of the new release calendar by my boss that September 2nd is the release date.

Would assume that the initial release will be quicker than that. But after the first few weeks of being able to order them wait times will jump up significantly.

I was quite shocked about the price, as I read initially 1799$ for a 7 - PW set… But 257 $ per iron is still a lot. Let’s see what shafts will be offered.

By the looks of the US pricing, these will be more than the Blueprints up here in Canada..... Was going to look at getting a iCrossover (4)/ i230 (5-6)/ i59 (7-PW) combo set when the i230 and iCrossover get released but I might just get some Blueprints instead of the i59.

i59 mid irons & Blueprint short irons are looking more & more, a likely scenario for me

Too many good options out there at a lower cost.  Ping is becoming what PXG use to be.  I am a fan of Ping and I hope they remain a strong brand.  But, the cost of these irons (even as a fickle wrx’r) has me passing on these irons.

Long time Ping fan as well but was able to order new T100S at $100 per club less..... was not a difficult decision.

Spot on. That will be the decision I try to make and frankly it isn’t even a decision if reported prices are accurate

Agree. Let's not forget the last time they came out with a premium forged set in the Anser irons. They were a lot more expensive than the i-series of the time, yet did not really look, feel or perform any differently. I mean, I am still looking to potentially buy these, but will wait on reviews and testing myself. PING generally get things right recently, but they are not immune to some mis-fires here and there. For the price, hopefully the feel on these is sublime. If that is the case, I will pay up.
