Reviving and old thread. Does anyone have a direct comparison between the D limited and D+ limited?

 

D+ limited 60TX is my favorite driver shaft I’ve tried. Is D limited just the same shaft with a new paint job and some additional flex options? From Mitsubishi’s website D limited seems to be stiffer through out compared to D+.

Also curious if D+ TX flex = D Limited TX since the D+ was only offered in stiff and TX.

I could tell a difference in these… I really liked my D+ limited. I know the chart says otherwise, but I felt D- limited was a little softer. Both in TX flex.

Interesting. I know D+ limited is supposed to have a slightly higher balance point. Maybe it is stiffer up in the hands as a result.

Interesting I always thought the D-Limited was the same profile/Materials as the D+ "TX" flexes which MCA always said were built with "Better Materials"

 

Hence why the price was 400

The TX flexes are the same, the slight difference in weight is the finish and MRC will occasionally change the spec weight if they find the actual weight of the parts coming out of the factory are slightly different. You see it sometime early on when you get the japan spec sheets and the weights will be lightly different than the published weights on the website a few months later.

 

These rotae into my bag sometimes and they are awesome, I've had both the older white board logo D+LTD and the new D-LIMITED Ion

Is it fair to say in a blind test you wouldn’t be able to tell the difference? I’m going to stock up on a few of these before Mitsubishi runs out and like the ion finish. Just haven’t been able to hit the D limited.

Yes they are the same in the TX flexes, Its till current product, too many guys on tour still playing it so they will keep making it. Hope the release the 90g D-Limited Ion finished one soon, seems to be tour only at the moment.
