M1 vs M2 vs RBZ Black

I've been playing the VRS Covert driver since it's release and I'm ready to upgrade. I hit it well so I've looked to the Vapor Speed and Vapor Fly for about $120. Now Golf Avenue has the M1, (good condition), M2 (very good condition) and RBZ Black (new) on sale for about $170 each. I figure it's probably worth it to upgrade to a Taylormade driver but wasn't sure, I haven't hit them much. I like that the RBZ Black is brand new but I'm worried it's going to feel cheap because of that original price point even though a lot of reviewers seem to like it. But now that the M1 and M2 are close in price, that changes how they would probably view these clubs. Does anyone have opinions on these Taylormades or Nikes?

Can't speak to the M1/M2, but that RBZ Black is a sweet old-school driver. It's my backup and comes out of the den bag occasionally.

You're talking about the new one that just came out in 2017? You don't think it feels/sounds cheap at all?

Cowpoke, i’ll put a plug in for the TM M2 model. Been offering to buy my son a new driver every year for alot of years and he refused because he couldn’t hit anything better than his Titleist 910 D2. Last fall he took me up on my offer. Hit everything availible, the 17’ M2 won out. Everyone thinks the 16’ model is the gold standard, it isn’t.

With the right shaft the 17’ is as good. He’s scratch and routinely hits it 280+

Nick Taylor just won last week with the same model.

Good info. I like the adjustability of the M1 but it seems the M2 is the more popular club. I think that's what I'll be going with.

I think a 2017 M1 or M2 is the best out of what you've mentioned. I have a 2017 M1 440 and it is a great club.

I second this. I just switched from a '17 M1 440 and believe me it wasn't for a lack of distance. This is still the longest driver I've ever hit

Anyone hit both the M1 and M2? Seems like the only difference is the M1 has the draw/fade adjustability but the M2 is popular as well.

The M2, 2016 or 2017, is a fantasy driver paired with the right shaft. Says a lot that several PGA players still have it in the bag and it is 3 releases old now. I think the 2017 is a little less fade bias and has a different sound but you can’t go wrong with either.
