Is Taylormade replacing the P760 anytime soon?

i play the p760s. i've always wanted to sub in the p790 in my 3-5 irons, but the lofts and gapping dont fit. i hope the p770 lofts match the p760s... from the looks of the p7mc, i dont think taylormade updated the p760 line. looks closer to the p750 irons

“They” aren’t saying anything about the new line yet. The pictures were taken and released without TM’s permission which is why they were taken down. We are still weeks away from any official word from TM about the new iron range.

The p770's look amazing. I have been saving up a set of Project X LZ blackout iron shafts for something special... this could be it. They would appear to be easy to pair with p790 long irons as well. The p7mc look great also, going to be a great year for Taylormade irons if they perform as well as they look. BTW, the Instagram pictures are still up if anyone hasn't seen them yet.

I havent seen the TW grind wedges but I would assume they look like TW's wedges? Also, the new irons lineup is great! I play P760 and want to try the new line, all of them.

P7MCs look puuuure. Also wondering what the P770s will bring to the table besides some of the P790 tech in a smaller profile and with probably more traditional lofts. SIM UDI/DHY could also be interesting. Over under 30 sleeps???

I agree, my favorite part of the P760 is the leading edge being shaved down giving an nice forgiving turf interaction when I get a bit steep.

Just to clarify: there is no P7CB.

New line of P•series will be:

•P7TW (existing, limited release?)

•P7MB (new release, replaces P730)

•P7MC (new release, replaces P750)

•P770 (new release, replaces P760)

•P790 (existing)

 

Really nice line of players irons that covers every segment.

I’m predicting that it’s will be the best line of players irons, top to bottom, that TaylorMade has ever had at one time. Maybe the best for them in every category, ever.
