You’re right! I think many of us thought TMs best days were behind them once the buyout was announced years ago. They sure proved everyone wrong and have reestablished the brand so well. So excited to hear more about this new lineup.

You had to know Taylormade has been watching this thread like hawks. Wouldnt be surprised at all if they leaked the image purposely to get our feedback or at least allowed golfwrx to leave images up long enough for some crowd sourcing

It'll be interesting to see how close the 2020 P770 comes to the P760... i think they may have too many differences for the 2020 p770 to be a drop down replacement for the p760...

Likewise. I had hit the 760s and liked them, but now I want to try the P7MC and 770. I am thinking the 770 is probably a bit more forgiving, which is never a bad thing. The big deciding factor might be the ball flight off of each. With that large mass of low weight on the P7MC, I am wondering if the ball with launch a lot higher. Wouldn't be good for me out here in the desert where we can get some stiff breezes.

Do you guys think the back of the P-7MC where the stripes are is milled or a sticker? I really hope it is not a sticker.

Definitely looks like milled lines to me (like the original P750/770). Don't see any seams that would indicate a badge/sticker.

Hopefully it's the same throughout the set though. Taylormade has had a history of badges in the longer irons (especially when they have an undercut, like the RSi TP or Tour Preferred MC). They seem to have gone away from that with the P series however.

Anyone know if the P7MC are one piece forged throughout the set? The leaked image certainly appears to be. Any word on any tech incorporated (tungsten etc)?

I'd bet money the P7MC is solid forged construction with tungsten in the 7 and up. Probably no tungsten in the 8 and down.

I'm interested to see if the P770 has foam and speed slot in all the irons, or if it's just 7 and up... maybe solid forged with tungsten in the 8 and down???

Either way, these irons are smoking hot. I can't change out of my P760's right now though... I'm hitting them too well!

What is everyone’s guess on the main difference between the 760 and new 770 based on the pics? I’ve hit the 760’s and really liked the consistency and as a 2-3 handicap the little bit I’d help they offer is appreciated. Do we see the 770’s as a more forgiving or similarly forgiving (distance on off center strikes) to the 760?

the p760s dont have that slot which the p790s have, and it appears the p770s have it. p770s look closer to the p790s than the p760s. not sure there is a comp for the p760 in this release. the p7mc look like theyll be similar to the p750
