Brooks Koepka compares Patrick Reed's bunker incident to Houston Astros' cheating

Have been for a while. He seems to have a lot of bully in him. Boys on the school yard don’t last long talking like that. Always chirping about how superior he is.

Surely cheating affects all the other participants in a competition as well? Otherwise why cheat? To that end, the only way Reed's cheating would have effected just him, is if he was the only one playing in the tournament.

To your other point, if you see another competitor cheating in a stroke play event do you give him a pass because his actions are not effecting an entire sport?

I think what he’s saying is don’t mention it if you won’t name names. Jumping on the Reed hate bandwagon isn’t exactly a measure of Courage. He shouldn’t elude to cheaters if he won’t name them.

Liked Brooks a lot better when he was just playing great golf and letting his game do the talking in majors. The phony tough guy persona is unbecoming of someone stating he wishes to be taken seriously within history of game.

MM, Reed got caught, was penalized and life went on. He did not affect the outcome of the tournament at all. That one penalty did affect the game at all. The Astro's cheating did affect the whole game, and will going forward. If I was playing in a competition and saw a rules violation in a protect the field situation, I would call it and have done so. You're making a false equivalency here. I will reiterate my point: If BK will not step up with names and examples, he's just providing clickbait.

So when McIlroy speaks his mind and Woods just talks in cliches it's okay? BK was asked a question and he answered it. Everyone complains about players being robots and just giving stock answers, I like that he is speaking up. Look forward to what the tour says to him. Will they threaten him like they did Smith or will they be two faced like they are with Woods?

I think he's not naming others because he doesnt't have video evidence. That would be really messy.

BK being BK would call them out if he had recorded proof. Again as mentioned, he seems to have the need to have his name out there or feels that he is not getting the limelight he deserves.

PR becomes an easy target because there is not just 1 but 2 incidents caught on tape and every pro knows how flimsy his "didn't know" excuse is.

Lets name names. Everyone's all over Patrick Reed, but all the other cheaters they know remain nameless. What about Lexi moving her ball on the green. She was penalized and everyone felt bad for her??? What the heck.???? She cheated and no bad reputation like Patrick Reed. I'm assuming it's because everyone likes Lexi and no one likes Patrick??

Koepka has the typical state university fratboy act down perfectly. Pump iron and transform your body. Wear shirts a size too small. Walk with imaginary lat syndrome and show off biceps. Call your friends 'brah' or 'homey'. Cock hat backwards when applicable. Other than that he just happens to be one of the best golfers on the planet.

I didn't feel bad for her at all in terms of the fallout and her lack of contrition didn't help - but she went through a lot personally over the course of the next many months and I have a sense (from my armchair, lol) there just won't be any more similar situations where she is concerned.

As for "all the other cheaters" - Koepka didn't quite go so far as to say there was cheating and I don't really like the implication he put out there with the language he used - went too far, IMO.

As a wise man once said. It’s all in the delivery. An aged porterhouse isn’t very appetizing when served on a garbage can lid.

Rory and Tiger speak in veiled hypotheticals. He’s basically calling “ facts “ minus any names. Huge difference.

Reed is a disgrace, I noticed there's almost 0 coverage of him in tournaments, they show a few perfunctory shots but pretty much he's on a blackout. Good for Brooks BTW. I was on the fence on Reed but where there's smoke there's fire, he's toxic.

I think Brooks Kopout has had his run. Using excuses now for his poor play is nothing short of disgusting on his behalf. Oh, I just care about majors... give me a break. The guys day has come and gone. The only way he can try and stay relevant is to try and provide clickbait. Put other people down. Provide excuses for his poor play.

Anyone really believe that if your knee was as bad as he makes it out to be you would continue to play on it, is fooling themselves and most assuredly never had a bad knee.

He has faded, will continue to fade and I couldn't be happier to see him continue to fade into the sunset.

Buh bye Brooks Kopout.

Except for Tiger playing on a fracture tibia in 2008? Look I practice in PM&R, I've seen athletes play through all kinds of pain and issues. Just an observation.

“He’s just starting comfortable to call them out”

Except not face to face it seems. He is comfortable enough, just like many baseball players On the Astros, to go on social media or in interviews and make comments. Koepka wants to be the big man on tour but should talk to them in a conversation. Not from afar.

Although we are all doing the same here lol.

It must drive Koepka nuts, knowing that He cant even be the doorman at a

champions dinner at Augusta. Needs to go practice, get ready, prepare,

move forward, everyone else has. The phrase " Last Years Defending Champion "

Wears off real quick. If your not winning the tournament, your just wishing you had.

Forgot that Tiger has played with a fractured knee and severe spinal injuries? When he came back he wasn’t the player he used to be either. Give hime some time.

You don’t become world no. 1 if you happen to win one tournament. The guy has won 4 majors, 3 pga events and was in the top 10 on dozens of others. Let’s not pretend Brooks has had only one good year.
