How much research and development do you need in a product that has already been done to death. You can only move a few oz's of weight to so many places and it has already been moved to every place under the sun, Maybe more Allan screws are the answer.

That's assuming they will be discounted further? I know at their lowest price, the Gen2's were $225/club, but believe they also never topped $400/club non-discount. Seeing as the Gen3's are at a slightly higher price point, the Gen3's may not be discounted more. Also, from everything I've read, a lot more R&D went into the Gen3's, so that cost may be reflected in the current discount.

I doubt it can be settled on the course...... too much PXG hate here LOL. Wether they outperform club-A or club-B doesn't matter because it will never be "double the price better."

People will spend $800 on a new driver with that $250 premium shaft, $350 on a putter, $300 on a bag, $300 on shoes, $250 on a new outfit, $600 on a set of wedges, $55 on a dozen of ProVs, and $1500-$2000 for irons......... but as soon as the brand PXG is mentioned all the haters come out of the woodworks.

All that stuff is used throughout the round , or used multiple times per round. $425 for an iron that may not even get hit in a round of golf is the difference.

$600 for wedges and $1500-&2000 on irons is not the norm, maybe a $3/400 wedge set and $1200 on irons, and not everyone has a Scotty.

Sorry I’m going to disagree with this statement....to an extent. If you served honorably as a Marine, you are always a Marine. If you’re one of the sh*t bags that popped dirty, or were NJP’ed for being a complete a$$ hat etc (we all know the type) you lose that privilege to be called a Marine. it’s like the SEALs and their Trident. You earn the right to wear that each and every day. And you earn the right to be called a Marine each and every day.

Hmm... While I appreciate that PXG is lowering the price for all, I also think there should be a corresponding price reduction for vets. If everyone can get them for $340, then vets should get them for $250.

If you're complaining about the price then you're obviously not their target audience. The company is doing fine from what I can tell. There will always be your PXGs, rolls Royce's, APs, etc.

Not true, at least not for me. My hero pricing shows $295 for Gen 3 irons, $495 for ST blades, and $495 for milled wedges, while the pricing for non-heroes is $375, $650, and $650, respectively.

I think Proto’s are $495 and $395 for Hero’s.
