Questionable experience at Hard Rock

Played the Hard Rock golf club in Rivera Maya yesterday. I had a questionable customer service experience. We had a group of 8 3 of us with rental clubs. The clubs were Taylor Made M6. On the back nine one of the drivers broke mid swing. Something that is traditionally covered under the warranty. The staff at the club first tried to charge us to replace the club. Then they threatened to call the police. Luckily our travel company stepped up and had the cost differed to them. The staff at Hard Rock told me that Taylor Made does not warranty golf clubs in Mexico. Which seemed odd.

 

On a good note cam very close to a hole in one never had one.

I would be surprised if they didn't warranty in Mexico, but you never know about warranties in other countries. I would however, be surprised if they would warranty rental clubs. You would never know what kind of players are using those clubs (who knows what that club has been through before you got to play with it).
