Just a FYI for those interested in ZITs. The material yellows within a few rounds of use on the versions with white toes. I’ve tried about everything in the book to get rid of the yellow stain. I’ve also read the 270s with white toes have the same issue. Something about the material doesn’t allow them to come clean.

I have the same issue but also found a solution - throw them, laces and all in a washing machine bag and into the washing machine with detergent, once done let them air dry and they will look brand new. Literally like brand new shoes. Doesn't harm them in the least.

I will try this. Did you take the inner soles out before throwing them into the washing machine?

Nah those are British Open packs. Check the squiggly lines and match them with the clothing with squiggly lines.   The ryder cup releases are the red usa and blue/yellow euro stuff

Sorry you replied right under the 270's for the Ryder cup so I assumed that's what you were talking about

Wow, that's crazy! I havent had any issues with that on any of my white pairs. I've worn most of them at least 3 or 4 times. I'll keep an eye out!

I would probably take the insoles out. For most sneaker washing DIYs they recommend taking them out. If anything, it solved the popping noise/feeling that I had for one of my pair.

Yeah, it didn’t do anything.

Was it yellow prior, that may be the cause? I used magic eraser on a pair and it caused the yellow discoloration. I tested it on a clean pair of the running shoes and did the same thing. Looks exactly like that. Almost like it "cleaned" the top layer off.

I have no issue with yellowing on my ZIT's after about 6 rounds walking. Surprised at how clean they are.

I think if you get the right size, for me at least, they are the most comfortable pair I own. Felt great straight out of box with no break in needed.

It was yellow prior to using the eraser

Can confirm, I've probably worn my white pair for 20 odd rounds walking and otherwise and the toe gets slightly stained more and more each time. I've tried magic eraser and the washing machine and neither really fix the issue. It's unfortunate but I would expect the same from any other white golf shoe really, albeit easier to clean.

I’ll pass on all future white Nike golf shoes unless it’s a leather material that cleans up easier. I like everything about the ZITs besides the ugly pee stain on the toe. Probably gonna be tough to sell with that stain.

I'll add a few insights on the ZITs that I haven't seen here.

1) Insoles. While most people recommend removing the insoles before washing, ZIT insoles are glued in. It's about time for a wash, so I'll have to decide whether to take them out or not.

2) White coloration. Aside from the first day, the Flyknit part of the upper hasn't looked WHITE. The laces and plastic lace reinforcements and midsole are white-white, while the upper is yellow-white. Maybe this is the subtle difffernce between the White and Sail colors Nike offered in caps this year (when there were caps to be bought...). It's not jarring, or annoying, or detract from the look.  It just is.

3) WIDE vs Standard. I've worn 13W in adidas and rarely buy Nike in any shoes because they tend to run narrow for my foot. Yet I bought a Baseball Blue standard 13 because I liked the color and thought it would be the only chance for me to get ZIT this year. As availability kept changing, I picked up a 13 WIDE Black/Crimson.

They didn't feel too different, so I took a look:

The 13 standard and 13 WIDE have the exact same soles and mid-soles!!!!IMG_3382.JPG.a7d832a41ebd604833103d24409c75fc.JPG

 IMG_3383.jpg.68ad5121ff6b3400a9c2453064ba07d4.jpg

So, I grabbed the measuring tape and it seems as if all they did for Wides was add a bit of extra upper (1/2/ inch at the widest part of the forefoot).

IMG_3385_JPG_and_IMG_3384_JPG_and_Export_and_IMG_3383_HEIC.jpg.8edbcffee518280b1376ea1e6282ffc6.jpg

Now, they are pretty comfortable, and they don't look like grandpa's saddle shoes. But they'll never be truly comfortable because the outer part of my forefoot is wider than the shoe chassis. At the end of a round, it can get uncomfortable as the outside bottom of my foot is on the ridge edge of the midsole. They've gotten much more comfortable as they've broken in and most times I don't notice.

4) Waterproofness. So far, this seems just fine in the dew and wet grass, but an interesting thing is that the laces go right through the upper. so if you were to step in a puddle, it would flood right in through the holes and some little spots under the laces where they didn't add the plastic coating.

Finally, the spikes are fine, they provide good traction and are easily cleaned with a tee.  That said the entire sole is a harder plastic and it can be a bit slippery on wet asphalt/concrete.

I want to see some of the limited edition Rosche Tours or NRGs people have... can we do that on this thread?

Anything specific you are looking for? I dont care for the Roshes but there have been lots of pics in the thread. If youre looking for something in particular you might have better luck getting a pic.
