Were these posted here yet? I really like them. I would love for them to release an all white pair like the regular tennis shoes too. 

 

Why is it that the US is last to get the majority of releases and has the least amount of options. Nike is a US company. It seems so strange to me.

Anyone walk 18 in the Shields yet?  Comfort? I know it’s still early but I’m sure someone has played in rain somewhere.

That's funny. The NRG 1Gs with real leather hurt my feet and dont stretch as well for me. Different strokes for different folks!

Honestly, have no idea.  They feel about the same thickness and same weight as the regular 270G's, which are water resistant.  The big advantage of the 270 Shields is that there is no shoe laces and tongue for water to seep into.

ZIT Shields worked well for me. It was rainy and marshy when I went the other day. My feet stayed dry and I didnt have any issues with traction. I even tested them out doing some puddle/mud stomping.

 

NOTE: Make sure you wear high socks (DUH?). I wore shorter socks that didnt get above the lip of the cuff (stupid, I know. I wasnt planning on wearing the Shields that day). They chewed up my ankles really bad. I ended up taping all around my ankle and then they were fine.

 

EDIT: I dont think there is any additional insulation. The ZIT Shields feel the same thickness as the normal ZIT, but I'm not positive.

the traction looks like my Nike Terra Kiger... I think those are the name of the shoe. They are a trail running shoe. I have thought about playing golf in them lol

They’re my favorite golf shoe. They run a little narrow. I know some people have had issues with them but for me they break in TTS really nicely. Grip and comfort are great. Probably why I have just about every iteration haha
