This year's are not waterproof...previous years are VERY water resistant, which also makes them much easier to clean.

I ran in the Epic React's for a few years too before getting the Infinity, and according to Nike, the Infinity's have 25% more cushioning. I'd say that they may be on the low side of that number to be honest? I haven't even picked up the Reacts since getting the Infinity (150ish miles ago), and I feel nothing after running in them. Much better cushioning and the rocker underfoot feels like a like a dream. I've heard a lot of people say that their foot feels sloppy in the toe box because it's so much wider, but I haven't noticed it?

Good Grief. I bought a few pairs for my wife. I got the Cortez, Roshe, and Am1 in 3 different sizes. She like the AM1 the best. I sold the rest on StockX for WAY less than that. Guess I should have just held onto them. (I have 1 pair of Cortez that I kept for myself in a sz11. Pretty comfy. I wear them to work when I'm feeling extra.)

 

Also, dont forget that the sole gold will flake off. It came with the infamous sticker.

The Cortez was the first modern tennis shoe that I ever wore. Before that it was converse Chuck Taylors , low and high top, or Converse also sold a low top suede version, had those in gold.

I like the infinity reacts a lot— I don’t mind the toe box at all. The only gripe I have with them is the heel fits me a bit loose, and while most shoes have an extra lace hole to lace through, these don’t. If they did they would be the perfect shoe for me.

They will be during it out with a pair of Brooks Glycerin 17....as long as fit is good on both, will likely go with the softer cushier shoe.

Damn. The react has my feet spoiled. I walked the last 3 rounds in my roshe g (non spike) and my feet are aching. The am1 don’t do that Or the vapor reacts. The roshe g might be reserved for the range now.

This years is a bit softer being that they are mostly mesh, but they are both comfortable.

Finally got mine in but unfortunately it was about a half size small. First pair of Nikes I’ve purchased in years. Tried on the original Epic Reacts and those definitely seemed to fit larger than these to me. But man, the Infinity’s really do feel pretty awesome.

I've thought these looked a little disproportional on some of the folks we have seen and was assuming they had smaller feet. usually the shorter the tongue and height of the shoe, the worse it looks on my size 13/14 foot. I'm hoping the height of the shoe and longer tongue help in this aspect, and that it doesn't just look like a canoe on my foot. That said, it may look like a cinder block on it now.....
