Anyone in the know able to tell me more about the front upper material of the ZITs vs the heel cup material? The heel material looks like it could be waterproof and easily cleaned off, whereas the front/mid part of the shoe looks like the opposite would be true.

The "waterproof flyknit" on the front of the shoe was introduced by the Mercurial superfly Vapor 360 (per this article: https://news.nike.com/news/nike-golf-air-zoom-infinity-tour)

"The plush feel of the Mercurial 360 can also be attributed to advancements in Nike All Conditions Control (ACC). Previously, ACC was applied on top of the finished Flyknit product, creating a thin layer. Now, ACC is embedded into the yarns prior to knitting, eliminating the additional skin without compromising the performance benefit. The result is a matte finish on a texturized upper that is softer to the touch but can still battle the elements."

 

So based off of that I would think that the front is waterproof. As to how well it cleans... who knows. I have a very soft bristle brush that I can use if it comes to that.

Why doesn't NIke have more options for Mens Golf Shoes? Seems like they are scaling back on new styles.

There are 10 different styles of men's golf shoes in this year's catalog, which doesn't include the Air Max 97 or Jordan V. I don't think I would consider that scaling back

I hope these dont feel like the mercurial vapor 360's. they are the least comfortable flyknit shoes ive ever worn. they may as well not be flyknit. feel more like rubber or plastic

Edit - I am wrong. they are not fly knit and probably not waterproof.

i hope you’re right but when I filter by waterproof golf shoes on NDC they do not come up.and in the description it says “Synthetic leather wraps around the shoe above the outsole to help keep out water.” but it doesn't mention anything about waterproof fly knit.

When I look on TGW.com they have the following as well in the features:

To be honest, I never even bothered to check on the shoe in detail, in person. Didn’t really have an interest in them.

Just picked them once and seen there was mesh on them with what appears to be like a layer underneath. If anything, it would have to be water resistant than waterproof.

I have this shoe in wht/blk (bought it yesterday) and played with it today.

Released in Korea few days ago and TW20 was released about month ago.

Just heads up, these are not Zoom Air infinity tours, as it does not have zoom air. I’m guessing it’s the cheaper version of it. (Retails around $130)

This shoe does have flyknit patterns, but is nowhere close to the actual flyknit. To be honest, it’s more of TW 13,14 leather in flyknit pattern.

I am guessing Zoom Air Infinity Tours will have actual flyknit as these React Infinity Pro does not have flyknit logo anywhere on the shoe

Are we still talking about the 2020 AM1g? Those arent Flyknit. They are just mesh. If they are flyknit they are doing a crap job of marketing (totally possible). There is no mention of flyknit in the description on NDC. "Textile is lightweight and breathable ".

Like Lesmond, I have not been interested in these shoes after really not liking my 2019 pair, that at least is waterproof.
