I think Brooks is going the Spieth route of trying any and everything to capture some old familiar feels to help boost his confidence. Now Rors complete and total departure last year from the AZVT was more of a head scratcher to me.

Of course there are going to be Nike fans (apologists) on this thread. That’s kind of the point. Of course good for him for using whatever is best for him, but it doesn’t mean he’s lost confidence in the shoe. When tiger has switched away from the red dot did it mean he’d lost confidence in that putter?

Back to the ZIT NRG/Tie Dyes, wanted to add I was reading the latest issue of Golf Digest and it had an article about Harding Park. The border of each picture was tie-dye, so as some of us already know, I think that confirms again Tie Dye is the PGA colorway and will (hopefully) release week of PGA. As for NRG, didn't Brooks win the WGC-St Jude (next tourney) last year? Maybe they release next week and he rocks them...

I might have to start a new thread about this, but is Nike Golf tanking 2020? Seriously, their whole brand (my entire lifetime) is built around their athletes showcasing new product, and the consumers being able to go out and access said product. Here's a list of the top Nike Golf athletes right now and their footwear status:

Tiger Woods - footwear unavailable

Rory McIlroy - using outdated model (released in 2018?) that is unavailable on their site (and most other places)

Brooks Koepka - using mostly a player exclusive version of the ZIT, and has gone back to an outdated model as of today.

Jason Day - Nike Air Max 1 G (only shoe I've actually purchased)

I've been a fan of Nike my entire life, and Nike Golf ever since I started playing golf, and it's really disappointing. I'm guessing COVID had something to do with this, but the Koepka shoe seemed to be marketed pretty heavily, and they aren't even selling the version that he was mostly wearing. And even when Tiger wasn't playing you could almost always find his shoes easily available. What gives?

I really think the 2020 Tiger we're going to release at the Masters in March and now they're waiting until then. They are still up for sale as 2020s on Nike in Japan and Korea.

Sizes 3.5 - 15 of the 270 NRG's are loaded on NDC (backend). No stock is loaded of the ZITs. Would not be typical for a release tomorrow. Just FYI.

Yeah, I still have a pair of the vapor 2s that are my go-to shoe, on course. One of my favorites, even if it's almost 2 years old.

Haven't been able to find the Roshe's in my size on the Nike site in months, but did see them on Golf Galaxy recently. Ideally, I wanted the white ZIT that Koepka was wearing, but that specific colorway isn't available. Went with the Air Max so I could have a spikeless pair. I'm a Nike loyalist and 2020 has been a disappointing year, no question.
