I like Freddie's bag. Odd 3 wood. Old irons. Uses what works

I was just about to say, is this a thing? Unless you are playing for a check on Sundays on TV, whats in the pro's bags doesnt matter for us.

The thing that got me hooked was when Golf Digest started featuring What's in my Bag' right around '98/'99. Hal Sutton and Ben Crenshaw, and here I am 20 years later with GolfWRX.

We seem to be at cross purposes. Initially the thread was about following a particular bag. I don't, can't see the point.

Do I look at WITB? Darn right I do, but in the knowledge that their clubs are not necessarily what are available to me and have no bearing on my game.

They can beat most with any bag they pick up. If any particular design of club made a significant difference they would all be carrying the same. They're not.

The experience so far has been great. I wanted a set to start the season so I would not have been able to make it down and then get them built in time so I did a phone fitting. We actually talked about some of what Rocco was doing during my fitting. I sent them my wedges to blueprint and we used that for a starting point. I can't speak highly enough about them and my wedges are not even done yet. Should have them in the next 3 weeks or so.

Kuchar always has a great bag. Love those smoked chrome, or whatever that finish is on his j15’s. I had the j015 a couple of seasons ago and they had a very similar finish.

I love seeing mixed bags that work. Duff is always fun to follow as well, although he is with Cobra now. Scott Brown’s updated bag is pretty awesome! His set up is just solid.
