Paige is not wrong as the womens side of the industry has never been respected in any way shape or form, but she picked the wrong week to bring it up.....with Covid-19, nobody cares about her issues with being objectified. Its just a bad time for her to bring it up. She did not get the attention she was seeking.

She literally objectifies herself, no one has to do it for her, that's the thing. She's happy to show herself off at every chance then unhappy when not everyone takes to it. If there were a men's tour player who wore extra medium shirts and appeared in tights to show off his glutes and man bits to incite attention he likely wouldn't be the toast of any private clubs either. She made her choices, she objectified herself, this is the result. Perceptions might not be the whole of who we are, but when you intentionally cultivate a certain image is it surprising to find people viewing you that way?

Brooks is just looking for something to say. That hockey bit was ludicrous. Golf is golf. And I see a huge distinction between CC memberships and just playing golf where you can find it. If you don't like waiting for a member don't play club courses. Really a wasted few paragraphs of an article.

I belong to a club, but it is more middle-class than anything else. Most everyone is pretty nice and rarely do I encounter anyone with affectations. We are pretty laid back.

The only comment I will make is I have been a big fan of BK for several years and in the last 6 months I have turned on that almost 180 degrees. Too many times my perception at least is he thinks he is the smartest guy in every room. Rarely does the smartest guy need to work so hard to act like he knows everything.

high end tennis clubs are easily stricter and stuffier. its not even close. My friend was thrown out for not following the strict dress code after 1 violation. Youre a member at the equivalent of a muni golf course so of course you wont feel it or see it.

If he dislikes the stuffy country club atmosphere then he should quit the tours.

Where does he think he plays most of his professional golf? It is not the local muni with damaged greens and almost empty bunkers.

I play where I like, the cheapest golf membership I can find on an interesting track ... he should just start playing where he prefers.
